Deathmark nerf

Why nerfing Deathmark so much, when there are still too many issues with that spell in PvP?

Can we now get Deathmark buff finally undispellable?

It seems to me that Blizzard simply doesn’t want sin rogues to play with the bleed build in PvP, for whatever reason.

I agree that assa is strong now, but so does almost every other class right now. Imho 30% feels way to much for such counterable cooldown…

Still surprised that Feral dodged those nerfs, even when he’s superior to assa.

Like there’s another build to go besides bleed??

No version of sin isn’t “a bleed build.” Doesn’t matter how much you lean into poisons no sin rogue would ever skip deathmark. And no poison build wouldnt have garrote or rupture being a massive portion of the overall damage.

You understand what I meant. Bleed build is the one leaning more into dot dmg with exsanguinate, zoldyck, etc in order to get the vast majority of their damage. As opposed to the envenom build, which does use bleeds and deathmark, but relies more on big envenoms rather than dot damage in order to secure kills.

Yeah but the idea blizzard wouldn’t want us to play “the bleed build.” is just silly.

“Bleed build” is like 60/40 bleeds to poisons.
“Poison build” is like 60/40 poisons to bleeds.

A nerf to bleeds OR poisons is a nerf to the entire specialization. It’s not like nerfs to one don’t hurt the other.

Yeah the more they nerf OUR talent choices the more they force us into one path. 3min exsanguinate nerf … who’s playing that talent now Blizz? Deathmark was fine as it’s dispellable by MANY classes and some racials. Now we lose 30% on it.

And then you got fury and DH with a simple two button rotation and consistent Healing whilst doing damage. I can heal for 30k over 6 sec on a 30sec cd. They literally LEECH that in less time and can aoe effortlessly because of their class design.

Rogues were a little overpowered I won’t lie but the skill gap in being a good rogue and a avg rogue is what makes the class strong.

I’m still learning arena targets and CC but it’s hard work to focus combo points energy on one target with 8spells to use in 3-6 seconds worry about keeping someone CC’d and now have less damage to all spells.

If only they didn’t balance around VotI because of some mega nerds parsing 90% on some boss fights
