Death Knight's "Insignia of the Scourge"?

The insignia of the Scourge, “Removes all movement impairing effects and all effects which cause loss of control to your character (5 minute cooldown)”

Trinket
Item Level 1

I’ve had this since I started my Death Knight 6 months ago.

I’ve held onto it because it seems really useful and powerful. However, the trinkets I have now give me great stat boosts and I don’t know if it is worth keeping around anymore.

I never use it, though I can see how it could save one’s life.

and I’m going into Legion now and eventually BFA – so I don’t see how I could ever justify using it?

Anybody have any advice?
Vendor it, or hold onto it?

Hello!

So this trinket was the Death Knight equivalent to the PvP trinket all other classes were able to acquire leveling up.

In practice, it is a useless trinket, since Blizzard rolled the “use effect” of the trinket into the “pvp” talents section. You effectively use the pvp talent instead of the trinket (can’t use both), freeing that space for a good trinket that will boost your dps.

Battlemaster trinkets still drop when you are max level, and apparently will make a meaningful comeback in SL, so there is no reason to keep it other than nostalgia.

It’s ok to delete or leave in your bank my friend.

It basically allowed Death Knights to have access to the “PvP Trinket” that they wouldn’t have been able to farm.

There are times where it could be useful, such as soloing the Nighthold Raid, but as it is a PvP Trinket, it’s use will be limited beyond that. Keep it in your Bank until you think you need it for those special occasions or the space.

Thanks to both of you for the information.
