Death Knights, how are you looking? Having fun?
Aside from the mobility issues that people always bring up on the forums. How are DK’s looking this expansion so far?
Pure sim numbers aside, are you enjoying the class? Is it fun to play? Is pressing the buttons enjoyable to you?
I’m thinking of leveling this dude up, and wondering if I should or not. Simply from a gameplay changes aspect; how different is the gameplay from BFA? Has anything really changed?
And how’s 2H frost? Viable, or are we still DW slaves? Has there been many changes made to how Unholy works? I know that during BFA people seemed to finally get to a place where they enjoyed how it played.
Likewise, how is Blood holding up? People are talking about having to do a lot of kiting this expansion making Monks, DH, and to an extent Druids better picks for higher keys.

Ok, well that was needlessly negative. If you quit the game because you don’t enjoy it, than why comment something like that on the forums for someone who’s actually still trying to enjoy the game?
Just leave the game alone and go your separate ways. Why try to bring other people down just because you’re having a bad day?

He gave an answer about how he feels about the state of the expansion, with a simply “Dead class” answer.
How is that helpful? I didn’t ask if you like or dislike the systems of the expansion. I didn’t ask if you like Blizz and they way they run their game. If you don’t like Shadowlands, that’s fine. But that’s not necessarily what I asked.
I asked about the class, and simply replying with “Dead class” isn’t helpful. WHY is it a dead class? What about it makes it so inferior to every single other class and spec in the game that you feel it should not be played at all?
Criticizing the class is fine. If the class needs work, stating so is fine. But maybe a little more than a childish “Dead class” would be helpful to someone who’s looking to get into the class again.
Also, everyone seems to think their class sucks.

Okay here’s the non short answer:
Blood: no one wants to play with it.
Frost: no one wants to play arena with it.
Unholy: good in raids, feels like absolute junk in arena, BGs and Torghast. I don’t like dismissing the pet in M+, so personally feel it also feels like junk in dungeons, but that might just be me!

Its a support class when it shouldnt be, To much pvp power baked into 1 ability that everyone is really sick of, Id use more vocabulary but blizzard would ban me for using the words i wanna use in relation to how i feel about some things.
Please i just dont want chillstreak to be why my class is good anymore man. I want my core to be whats strong not this dumb niche ability. I F****** hate that this ability is the sole reason my class is represented in arenas. I f****** hate that frost or really just dk in general is not living up to the fantasy that BLIZZARD GAVE US. Seriously why is nearly every class in the game tankier than a death knight. I thought i was supposed to get something for being the immobile class. I thought i was supposed to be compensated for that somehow but instead blizzard remains content with giving all the hyper mobile classes with insane surviability AND CC all of the damage, and then giving dk the slow class with low uptime 1 button that does effective damage but it has a 2 target condition that can actually hurt it more than it helps it sometimes (monk images pets in general ruin chillstreak pressure)

You can just read the tooltip on Chillstreak and realize it’s stipulated, conditional garbage, just like everything in the DK kit.
Death Pact = mortal strikes you.
Old Lich pvp talent = makes you move 70% slower.
Breath = a tether with barely any range that can be interrupted
Cooldowns = nerfed, gutted and bad. BDK actually needed Blood Mirror, gutted.
Chains = costs runes, gimping your damage (your utility gimps your damage kek)
Wraith Walk = can’t use abilities or it breaks.
Death strike = gimps your damage as Frost.
Deathcoil healing = gimps your damage and GCD locks yourself.
A literal joke of a class.

The class is complete trash. Only useful as UH in pve. I will not be renewing my sub unless blizz makes some serious changes. In fact I might contact my bank and contest the charges for the other piggies and such I bought I don’t even care at this point. I’m 22 days /played since xpac and it was all for nothing.

You really have to pardon most of our negativity one such as Molecula. I honestly don’t blame his answer.
Dks are not really in a good state right now. I’m also thinking Warriors too… but at least Warriors thrive in PvP as Arms as well as we somewhat thrive as Unholy in M+/Raids that’s starting to fall off.
Everything else both classes do are weak and much better off picking a better class unfortunately. :C
EDIT: Anyone who plays warrior can prove me wrong but based on the logs and arena representation, I’m just assuming the state of warriors but I definitely know Dks is not good right now.

Ive felt feelings like this too. I dont really think its fair to say that the class isnt kinda fun, Its just as mentioned above the ignored problems it has that people have been vocalizing for months begging for just SOME change literally just something haven’t been answered or acknowledged. People are just getting extremely frustrated like myself.
Even just a blue post literally just 1 man that said they at least were reading our feedback and thinking about it then that would be enough to at least restore hope. But instead they leave us ignored and make people want to just stop feeding them money when they arent doing their jobs.
Im sorry but seriously the fact that blues dont even exist anymore are embarrassing.

Blizzard does not read the forums nor do they listen to balance suggestions. They made this clears years ago (like 15 years). This forum basically exists to waste time.

If the forums got more attention from blizzard itd be funny because then people would actually invest in being serious in them instead of acting like apes
People like r1s would actually use them to bring about suggestions etc in posts that were being answered regularly
Insane they might even be making more money of the game because more people would play a game that they knew the devs were active in and always answering feedback on who knew investing money into something might make you more money
Hire some community managers blizzard 1 minimum for each class forum and for every forum on the site. They are required to answer at least a post a month minimum and give incentive for them to be highly active. Pay them more.

A lot of good that’ll do. I’d rather have 3 bookins, an aff lock and 3 disc priests supporting me TBH.
I used to be very active on Blizzard forums back in the gold ole Diablo 2 and Warcraft 3 days but I think I’ve posted maybe 20 times in 16 years of wow because it’s pointless and it’s all reeeeeeeeeing which drowns out any legit concerns. And considering they just eliminated such a huge chunk of their staff I doubt they’ll spend any money for CMs.
