We are seeing other classes getting new animations, even shaman will get a new Lava Burst. When will Blizzard update DK’s? We are on the same spot since the class was released. All the spells deserve a graphical update, it’s 2024, not 2008.

Yes, Legion was almost 10 years ago though, many classes got changes after BFA
We saw full a full VFX rework in Legion, followed up with another pass in Shadowlands. Quit spitting hyperbole if you want to be taken seriously. WoW’s overall graphical capacity really hasn’t really improved since Legion.
Just because there are new animations doesn’t mean it’s going to be good. Gotta be careful what you ask for or you get what they did to incinerate.
You’re wrong, new animations are worse than cata versión. We don’t have icy touch and the new souds are awfull.
Vampiric blood should have something like bloody wings and blood aura.

They just did in legion
As someone who has been playing warlock for years, the new Incinerate is infinitely better than the old one. So yes, I think regardless of what they do it will look better than how it looks rn. Warlock looks much better now than it ever did.
If you think the new animations are worse than Cataclysm’s you are just blind. Nostalgia is the disease of the century.

Blood is visually horrible, heart strike animation is meh and the sound is bad, blood boil ( i don’t play in eng) is almost the same old animation, death strike new sound is ugly compared to the old sound, this is My opinion, no nostalgia because i can play both of them right now and i can compare which sounds feel better in My ear, in retail i always get the sound off because i hate them.
Uh is “fine”, My Main concern is blood, Even with San layn i ask, where is the blood? I don’t see the blood. Paladins are flashing light everywhere and plus they have wings. Warrior in season of Discovery got sick dark wings, BDK needs a huge update.
Frost is old too.

The old incinerate was better than this candle flame they put out. It just needed to be updated, not changed.
Ah, you meant DK in specific, I meant all the classes in general. I don’t like Blood’s animations either, I think all DK specs need a revamp, it’s 2024, Legion was in 2016.
Perhaps you need glasses, the old Incinerate barely looked like fire, it was an amount of blurred pixels, to not mention the horrible Chaos Bolt that most looked like a green fish. The old animations are bad, the graphics were bad and limited to technology. Let’s hope Blizzard will keep updating visuals over the expansions.

Insults? You are basically insulting the new animations because of your nostalgia. The old Incinerate didn’t look like a wave of fire any more than the new one does. It’s bad and old graphics, with bad texture and pixels.
Learn the difference between bad graphics and good graphics, thankfully Blizzard is updating everything over the years, hopefully soon Death Coil will also look better.

I do wish some of the spells has more “oomph”. Like Frost is ok, imo. Howling Blast looks good, Obliterate feels good… Frost Strike could use a bit.
Unholy feels a bit weaker. Especially with, Outbreak which doesn’t really seem to have much of a visual tell. There’s times I’m not sure it actually applied because I don’t see it do anything. Lol.

The VFX now look pretty unimposing and anemic… at least the volume of particles was more robust than whatever it is now. Hell it was the reason I went down the green fire questline, then it changed and it felt like I was throwing sparkles instead of hellfire.
