The forsaken are undead and have a plethora of eye colors. Why is it that death knights only have one eye color option? Also why is the night warrior black eyes the only option able to override the blue death knight color? Does the power of Elune supersede even death? We know her “sister” is part of the pantheon of death, I don’t know if there is a connection due to that.
Then you have man’ari death knights who are essentially dead demons who can’t retain their fel green eye colors. I’m trying to figure out why night warrior works but fel doesn’t?

Also Grant Lazarby has normal eyes, but I chalk this up to Blizzard simply forgetting to put DK eyes on him.

Yes it’s very confusing with the inconsistencies with the eye colors.
I just wasn’t sure if there was a lore reason for why the death knight eye color overrides most, but then night warrior still works. I always figured fel was a chaotically strong school of magic and had the potential to also override it.
Which then begs the question, if night warrior can override death, but fel can’t…. Then why can’t demon hunters have a black fire/smoke to replace their fel fire eyes with the night warrior eyes. Yes I know demon hunters don’t have eyes. They just have fel fire. But if the night warrior eyes are that strong to override death knights, perhaps they could create a black looking fire to replace the fel fire. Whatever that black eye magic is.
Theoretically all DKs should have the blue wispy eyes that Zovaal had as they are all revived by and users of Domination magic,
Except apparently for Night Warrior empowered elves, which is an interesting one they have never explained.

Death knights can’t use night warrior last I knew.
Wow just confirm it they can use black eyes… Hmmm that means that they must have forgotten to add the red eyes!
Aw man… oh well at least I hope they make room to add them later.
