Death Knight

I’d like to see death knight come to SoD. I mean they are already there in the end-game. Just not yet playable until WotLK. I’d like to see them playable in Vanilla/SoD and perhaps reduce their starting area from starting at 55 down to starting at maybe 35-40 then leaving their starter zone after the normal 3-5 levels. They can also just re-skin their teir 7.5 into a teir 3 set etc as they did classic classes from t3->t7. They could also perhaps make Blood back into a proper physical dps spec and fix Scourge Strike so it’s more viable than it was in WotLK.

Maybe not so popular for everybody but they definitely do make sense in Vanilla and some of us would really love to play a DK.

Sure why not? Throw evokers in there too. Sods a burning ship anyways

Vulpera or nothing.

You will learn to fear the Vulpera empire.

Death Knights existed in Vanilla. Just not yet playable. I have never seen whatever you’re talking about in Vanilla.

SoD is actually a great thing. I’m really loving it. I just wanna play a Death Knight pre-WotLK. From a lore perspective it makes sense (they are deeply a part of the lore in Vanilla).

I don’t plan to play Cataclysm. The raids were ok but overall I didn’t like it. I hated when Blizzard gutted and re-did the talent tree system and play style of the class I mained back then. I would like to experience a Death Knight from a pre-WotLK perspective. With classic talent trees and the classic atmosphere. Etc etc.

Introducing the Death Knight can also reintroduce the raid buffs they brought as well. 10% AP (Blood), 20% Haste (Frost), 13% Magic Buff and 30% Disease damage (Unholy). Obviously they can be scaled down a bit to fit into SoD from their WotLK versions but would bring all of those awesome buffs back into the game. Blizzard can also have fun with their original fantasy of a Death Knight where any spec could tank or dps and dictate the variants of those specs through the rune system.

If Blizzard really wanted to do this then it wouldn’t take very much work to bring Death Knight to Vanilla/SoD. They could even charge like $10-$20 for a mini type of SoD expansion to reintroduce the Death Knight into Vanilla/SoD. I’d definitely pay for it and I’m sure a majority of the SoD player base also wouldn’t mind paying for it. Make it an addon pack like Resident Evil did for the Ada story and charge like $20 for it to cover the cost of adding them/scaling them, re-working their starting zone and gear to fit into Vanilla. Then lock the creation of a Death Knight unless they purchased the mini expansion, throw in an account wide pet or something as well with the purchase of the expansion and I think it’d be quite successful. I’d buy it.

The only change I would like is Shamans for Alliance and Paladins for Horde.

no way. I love and hate that this exists, but 100% has to stay.

Forsaken Death Knights, Night Elf Demon Hunters. I’d go for that.

New classes are not going to be a thing, and even if they do I would rather have classes that were never implemented on retail like tinkers.
