I dont know why this bugs me so much, but why is the DK select so dam tiny compared to all other classes? Literally 2/3 the size.

It bothers me too. Wish also we could change the snow back ground. Into a nice beach maybe
You’re probably joking but seriously, I kind of wish we could change the background for characters from racial to class for some. Like have a customization thing for them as some of the racial backgrounds don’t mesh well with some classes.

You lost statistics when resurrected into undeath. It’s a common roleplaying game mechanic.

Also, it’s hard to customize your DK at the character creation screen because of the blue lighting. In FF14, you have a choice of scenery and lighting when making your character.

Most modern MMO’s you can change the background / clothing. Also tilt and rotate the model, zoom in and out. I know theres not a whole lot of modifications to make to our characters, I’d still like to at least be full size…

Because we’re zoomed out.
TBF in wow you can use the barber shop for free, whereas to change most physical characteristics in ffxiv you need to buy fantasia for real money.
But yeh, the death knight background is particularly bad for customising your character - all the skin tones get muddied by the weird blue light.
As a tauren, my background on the character select reminds me of an N64 game.
New customizable player driven backgrounds would be a neat idea.
I would just like to select which expansion’s title screen to use. In FF14 we can select which of the titles we would like to see when we log in, and which expansion’s opening video we want to play if it’s left idle.
Because they decided we needed to see the round stone we stand on and the background more than our own character.
