So I’m trying to decide between human and dark iron dwarf for my next dk. I like the way both look in the various transmogs and animations. So I guess it’s boiling down to what racial are more useful. Humans with the trinket racial and increased rep gain or dark iron dwarves with there tunnel machine portals and racial buff. What are some opinions?
Definitely humans. They also look better in armor.

Lol. I have 3, but they’re gnome, pandaren, and belf.
Tauren or Gnome.
We are the masters races.

This. Or you can also roll a Panda in a pinch. Mostly because the idea of a fluffy panda DK is funny to me.
I actually had this exact same dilemma when I was making this toon. I ended up going human for the DK and then went Dark Iron Dwarf for a new Pally.

This is going to be a terrible answer, but while the Dark Iron Dwarf is more fun to play for me (the transmog is some of my favorite), the DK is hands down more fun for me as a class.
Both races are great, though - I find I don’t use the tunneling machine as much as I had expected, while the extra rep gain as a human has its advantages, especially when things are gated behind rep.
This is my Dark Iron Dwarf Pally, if that helps in terms of the transmog…and I just realized I need to fix the transmog for my legs lol.
Do you do any form of pvp? Do you enjoy farming reps?

Go Dark Iron, their Racials are amazing and their Heritage armour alone makes them a great choice in regards to looks.
Humans are too generic and boring.
