Death Knight PC in DnD? (5e)

Hi,

I’m fairly new to DnD but I’ve been playing every friday for about two months at this point.

My DM for this week wants us to make new level 1 PCs with background stories etc, so I wanted to make a Death Knight. So far I’ve made a Fighter/Battlemaster and a Bard of Lore.

To be more specific, I want a PC that is similar to WoW’s version of the DK (moreso Unholy Specialization than Frost/Blood)

Was wondering what class I’d start out with and what progression path I should take (if Death Knight is possible in DnD)

TLDR;
A Dark Knight with Great Weapon Fighting, Heavy Armor and Necro Magic melee combat.
