Unholy needs to have its vanilla combo point pimple popping gameplay redone into something more thematic and less micromanagey.

If we could get a talent to cleave them onto enemies with FS, I would be happy. The ability in game now is unreliable when you have 1 big pull up to the boss, and the ability to put wounds on 2-4 extra people, even if the cleave damage is miniscule, would make switching so much easier.

if you are stopping to restack wounds while target switching on trash, you are playing unholy wrong, just hit the target. if its going to last a while, maybe stack wounds, but if you knew this add was happening as a fight mechanic, you should spec into any of the abilities that allow you to spread wounds or passively stack them before swapping.

you know we used to have to manage our pet energy and manually claw by macroing it into rotational abilities. the current spec is too simplified already.

I do however have to say that UH currently feels the best it has in years to actually play. It’s waaaay better than it use to be when Blizzard first added the woons. Never been a fan of tha woons, champion.

Ahem…

Festering Wounds are debuffs and there are three ways to massively pop them enmasse.

Apocalypse.
Cleaving Strikes with Scourge Strike.
Dead Enemies with Stacks.

Personally, I like Festercleaving. But I can kinda see why it’s not for everyone. It takes two globals to interact with them…

If they intend to keep wounds as a core theme of UH, Festermight and Vile Contagion should at the very least be baked into the spec like Epidemic was.

I hate Wounds as much as most but until that day comes, Vile Contagion should not be a thing. Festering scythe should directly upgrade Festering Strike to cleave wounds by default and its proc should make it shadow for extra damage.

I like the wound system and that its not overly simple. But if that opinion is unpopular I’ll take the L.

Ultimately I hope unholy stays untouched and frost players get what they want. Everyone’s happy.

The execute function of Soul Reaper is bad so a MS effect would be better, Instant climbing the PvP rank tier. I think extending the hitbox for melee attacks would be nice too. i find myself spamming buttons right next to the model on screen and nothing happening, would be nice if the visual component matched melee range a bit more.

I really dislike Soul Reaper… Visually it feels as if I’m not pressing anything - The effect should be much more drastic with correctly hitting the execute window. I’m about to just add some oomph effect on my screen with Weak Auras or something.
