Nothing removes the glyph of the skeleton once applied. I can not take it out with vanishing powder, or re-applying a new or different glyph. In the spell book it shows glyph of the geist, in the talent panel, the tooltip shows glyph of the skeleton. I’ve been stuck with this pet bug for ages and have not been able to get rid of this skeleton.

I’m the OP. I should have added, this is on retail DF. Not classic. I didn’t mean to post on a classic avatar.
I’ve been using a skeleton forever and randomly decided to try switching to the Geist and have run into this issue. Even though the spellbook shows as having the new Glyph (or even having removed it with vanishing powder), the skeleton always shows up. The top class tree ability still shows it has the skeleton glyph applied to it. Blizz support says to remove the talent, but you can’t remove that top level talent. 
Also forgot to reply on my actual DK
