Oh god, Magni with Doryani’s Fist? That’ll be interesting.
What’s next? He can make Rumblers that make rubbles?

They’re here to stay.
Remember when people were saying this about pandas lol. But now not a single person says anything about them. People just hate new things
People have a tendency to hate any player species that is vaguely animalistic. Saw the same hate for Vulpera too
I remember the Vulpera hate when it came out, it was wild. I kinda despised them at first because I wanted the snek people instead, but then worked through my issues and now I just think they are fuzzy little guys.
They’re adorable little ankle biters who’ll shank your kidney if you piss them off :3
I do still want the sethrak through, and getting mechgnomes instead of them is a travesty
I’m sure there is a universe that this character never existed.
:L
No. That is lore breaking.
Sorry :3
I know there are plenty of people who like them and I’m glad they got something they wanted, it’s mostly me having an intense dislike of gizmo-gnomes outside of the Dragonlance setting. Wish they were depicted as proper artificers rather then ‘lol so wacky and everything explodes randomly!’
Isn’t the latter more of a Goblin thing?
Come to think of it, I am kind of surprised that Clockwork Goblins aren’t playable and thought of as a concept.
Or… Gilgoblins.
I just made this character thanks to Combat Analysis and thought that Dks (especially Frost) grants a lot of Strength. RAW STRENGTH.
This 10000%.
We have Bolvar to make dks, don’t we? I am surprised we aren’t getting em.
No. Hes not the LK anymore. There is no LK.
We don’t even need Bolvar, during Legion our boi Darion was already raising DKs
Bolvar’s not the Lich King anymore, nor do we have the Helm so we might not be able to make new ones of our style. Not really sure on the details on that since I was sure in Legion Bolvar gave us that power when making the Horseman, but we could have just been channeling his power at the time.
Gnome’s were actually illusion magic focused when they first appeared in their modern form in D&D back when. They ended up feeling like bootleg hobbits (halflings) though and never really had an identity. The Dragonlance setting rethought them as technomagical inverters with a mad scientist bent. They fit in that campaign setting and the novels, but everyone else ripped them off after that and ramped up the ‘lol wacky explosions’ part like Spinal Tap ramping up an amp.
I’m not really a fan of ‘lol pointlessly wacky’ type characters
If he was then it was with Bolvars power. But he wasnt creating Death Knights in the middle of the battle with Burning Legion. It even explicitly states that we raised the 4 horsemen with the Lich Kings power that he put onto us for that purpose. No Lich King, no Death Knights that the player is able to be. Its really that simple.
There’s no Lich King anymore to be able to make new DK’s. The Deathlord storyline was a Legion one, so any race that comes after Legion shouldn’t be able to become the Deathlord. (From a story perspective. Gameplay aside)
Canonically Worgen and Goblins existed in the areas of influence that Arthas worked in.
Then Pandas and allied races get raised by Bolvar.
After Bolvar lost his Lich King powers, there’s nobody left to make new DK’s. (If you’re on a character that canonically can’t be the Deathlord.)
Dracthyr DK’s would be cool, but canonically shouldn’t happen.
But then again we have Lightforged Warlocks and Eredar Locks back in The Alliance, so lore and story are kind of out the window at this point.
Surely there’s some way to resurrect new Death Knights. Even through other forms of magic. It’s been stated that other types of magic are capable of reanimating the dead. Look at Calia. We could end up with a situation where Death Knights are raised by other means while still functioning like Death Knights gameplay-wise. Kinda like how Tauren Paladins technically channel the power of An’she rather than use the light specifically, but still look and play like they do, in game.
It isn’t that there aren’t options to raise people into undeath, it’s that death knights were a very specific ritual spell. Without the Helm of Domination we may not be able to make our specific type of death knight anymore. Making a new type of death knight though would be a good excuse for them to add a new spec to the class, not that I’d hold my breath for that.
Tauran paladins do still use the Light, they just channel it from a different source and faith than other paladins. The light is simply one of the fundamental forces of reality.
No, we need less lizards, not more.
