Death Gate: How about we get to choose?

This is definitely not a new thought, but I really want to bring it back and perhaps make it be heard: let us choose between old EPL Acherus or Legion Acherus, like mages can choose between different portals in one spell.

Seriously, it would be such a huge improvement. In Shadowlands, at level 50 - or at level 10 should you choose Legion content - you get the new option to choose betwe en a Death Gate to the old Acherus or the new one. So simple, yet it would mean the world to many of us. Is it possible? Do other DKs want this still?

I agree mages can even troll people with a portal to dalaran crater

Tbh I wish death gate allowed us to port to 1 graveyard of any important zone (like the teleports from engineering)

If my group isn’t paying attention right at the end I do what’s called “portal roulette,” where I cast every single portal in game on top of each other. Where are you going? Dazar’alor? Dalaran crater? Swamp of Sorrows? Who knows! Roll the dice and find out!

Why they still invite me to groups I’ll never know.

This is why I never trust mages. Even if I mouse over a portal and it says Boralus i will still just hearth.

We had a mage who did exactly that, which is nothing new, except he has always been considered the “honest mage” of guild (meaning he had never pulled any shenanigans like this since start of BfA). So don’t trust the mages, even if they appear honest.

Indeed, every mage is a jerk, without exception!

Back on topic though I don’t see any downside to allowing death gates to go to different versions of the Ebon Hold.

Every time I find myself with a need to get to upper part of the Eastern Kingsdoms, I find myself missing my EPL gate. Makes me glad I at least got the Scarlet Monastery ports from MoP Challenge Modes, but that’s pretty niche to have. It really is a pain for Alliance otherwise.
