If you see people killing bots, STOP killing the people killing the bots. Currently killing the same 3 bots repeatedly in Hinterlands, and unknowing actual alliance players are defending them.
(reporting them is apparently doing nothing, but I report each one before farming them)
You’re a Horde character, killing Alliance characters…
But you get upset when other Alliance charaters kill you…
So you come to the forum asking Alliance not to kill you…
I don’t think that works on PVP servers. Especially since the “bots” you are killing might not be bots – they may be guildies of the ones killing you.
Feel free to come to herod and just below the Aerie Lodge. Got bored after chain killing them 50 or so times. All hunters with chinese character pet names, none even noticed they were under attack from non mobs. All running the same patterns.
There should be a cross faction understanding that none shall interfere with bots being chain killed in the hot bot spots like hinterlands, tanaris, feralas, etc. Blizzard isn’t doing anything about it, despite the obvious nature of what is going on. I mean it is not even trying to be hidden, it is glaringly blatant. No less than 4 of them all on separate botted rails, in just the wolf area there. All with the same chinese boar names, none fighting back, all very close to the GY so they can respawn and resume asap.
It cracks me up when individuals like hiawanda claim tHeY mIgHt nOt bE bOtS.
Just think of all the time someone is “investigating” reports. Now imagine them instead spending that amount of time, in game, witnessing it first hand as I do. A couple hours in an evening, hopping between the well known bot spots, zotting each one with a 1k year probation.
Again, none of this is remotely being hidden. The folks setting up these bots know they have all the time in the world to run the bots.
1 or 2 employees in game server hopping and dealing with this in real time would be HUGE. I doubt very much that investigating reports would take less time and man power.
If anyone knows how to type in /say “bot” from Alliance to Horde or Horde to Alliance, I’m all ears. I’ve been trying to figure out a way to do that forever…
You come around a corner, you see a member of the opposite faction killing a member of your faction… you intervene.
Such is the way of the PVP servers.
If you hordies can make a /yell that says “go to retail”, maybe find a way to make one that says you are “killing a bot”?
…that way i will at least let you finish (and maybe even let you drink and eat) before I kill you. …OH but some horde intervened on that and I am death running
