Get used to it. I’ve been having high latency for weeks. I can log in (albeit with high latency) and yet one of the MVPs on this forum tells me my problem is related to the problem you guys are having. That assumption doesn’t make sense on so many levels. For one, I CAN LOG IN.

They gave an update saying they’re still investigating 2 hours ago, usually they don’t give updates until it’s fixed.

I’m very used. My habitual latency is 234 ms. I play from Argentina. A ‘high’ latency is for me superior to 1000 ms. - Imagine to play pvp with 234 ms permanents.
To the margin of the anecdote today there are problems in all the games of Blizzard. And the technical support does not give the suitable responses.

No answering cause they friggen can’t fix I bet, So they are saying nothing.

Well, that’s poor. It’s a tech support, no matters what’s the “usual”.

Well no, when there are issues like this customer support gets flooded with tickets, forum posts and tweets. Once the issue is fixed they’ll let us know, they can’t do magic.

What 8 hours later, that’s not good enough for paying customers the service they are providing sorry. If you phone went down would you be happy not been told why? infact anything you pay for? Its a joke and to be honest I hope they friggen lose a lot more subs over this debacle of a game now.

Hearthstone seems to be working fine.

The issue is limited to the Chicago datacenter as far as I can tell. If your other characters are also on Tichondrius, or in any other realm hosted in their other datacenters, they wouldn’t be affected in the same way.

To those affected: If you were itching for a reroll, might as well try doing it in one of those other realms to pass the time.

Anyway, they could’ve saved themselves from being flooded by tickets, by just communicating that there’s an issue at all forthwith when it’s this widespread. Just a few lines in the forums would prove most efficient in cases like this.

There are Customer Support volunteers that have been posting a few updates in the main thread.

Sorry if there was any confusion, but I meant something along the lines of a pinned post/launcher notice and several hours earlier. Before all those aforementioned tickets someone else mentioned, you know. Just hindsight, though they would know better than this.

That’s not a answer that’s a damage mode response. It’s not giving a direct answer at all.

I personally think that Blizzard should postpone its update patch tomorrow in order to make up for the entire day of lost playtime. You can do updates next week Blizz. If crap is breaking without updating it, just imagine all the stuff you’re going to break when you actually do update things.

Tambien juego desde Argentina, un desastre todo el dia con el mismo problema, y no es la primera vez que pasa este problema de enrutamiento, ya paso hace unos mesesy tambien mas de 24hs sin poder entrar, espero que minimamente tengan una atencion con los damnificados!

No sucederá. Juego hace años, hemos tenido caídas de 20 horas y nunca hay ningún tipo de “atención”. Si ni siquiera pueden decir “estará reparado en X horas” (para que hagas de tu vida lo que quieras)menos te van a compensar con algo…
