If you keep grinding up night faes I probably won’t be able to use my covenant ability that nukes them sooooo…

Oh the mage will DPS the add. That’s literally the line I get all the time. Like bro you’re a Boomkin you can help out too…the tank got the main.

This is why I just drag the boss over to them and start cleaving them. I basically don’t trust the DPS to do anything most of the time unless I’m in a group with friends.
I will target the adds–I just wish the DPS did it as one so you can clear it really fast. Having one DPS target 4 adds is not the same in solo pve some classes have to burn CDs to kill them. It’s a lot easier if everyone cleaves or AoEs together.
It’s weird how there’s no trust on either end.
I’m quite sure every tank in the game has downs when it comes to moving the boss away from bad
It why, to me prot divine toll is the best spell in the game, good damage, high threat and an aoe silence. Less running around for someone with garbage mobility.

But sometimes you need to kill the big thing first. It depends on the fight.

This is prompted by a bad pug necrotic wake 1st boss m0. I divine tolled the worms, kited them through my consecration 50% slow, threw a few more shields, bulwark SotR hits and the DPS barely touched them. 3rd wipe I hearthed.
did you ever just tell the group to nuke adds after your first wipe?
On my healer… I hate that fight because dps just won’t touch them. They’ll just sit there and get nommed on. Try telling them… 4 times… they might finally listen. 
sure did.. was the first thing i did. after the 2nd one said that they thought someone else was getting them…
It happens. I think part of it is that adds are only a real problem sometimes, and as everyone scales up through an expansion, they become less and less of a problem so when the new xpac drops, everyone just focuses on the bosso. Retraining the reflexes is actually an issue.
