I can scream all day and night that I’m going to roll a Warlock. We all know it’s going to be a hunter. Here’s the thing. YOU horde people get access to one of the fastest attack speed pets at level freaking 10. Oh sure, as a NE I can get some 1.3 attack speed pets. But The Rake calls to me.
I will be on a pvp server.
I WILL run my NE all the way down through the barrens.
I WILL stand PROUDLY in Mulgore ( . . . in shadowmeld . . .) and await his spawn.
I WILL tame him at level 10.
I am coming.
Prepare.
*Only a single NE character will be harmed in the keeping of this dream. He will be harmed many many many times I assume.

Mulgore isn’t a pvp zone, and if your low level high level players won’t kill u

yeah, its that barrens run that is going to be interesting. lol
I thought attack speed was normalized by species by 1.12?
Honestly it’s not as bad as you think it is, I’m sure a couple days after lunch when everyone is in The barrens sure it’ll be tough and crowded,
But with layering, how big the barrens actually is.
You’ll probably go unnoticed if you actively trying to avoid players.
I’ll be camping Humar at about lvl23.

I’m a solo/rare tame junkie!
My favorite is the solo worg tame in LBRS. It’s the only way to get a brown worg in the game.
Don’t worry, we alliance get our payback when horde has to go to duskwook for Lupos.
Oh wait, it’s 1.12 Lupos, never mind

I remember camping Lupos (do you know of him?), getting ganked often by Alliance, back in the day. He, Humar and Broken Tooth. Too much time spent on them.
Also the white lion (easy tame) in the Barrens whose name Im not going to try and spell. Sheets impressive to see Alliance with him back in the day.

I think damage is normalized, attack speed is not by that point
That’s a tough run, I wish you all the luck in Azeroth, but if you’re flagged, yeah, I’m gonna have to try to kill you, won’t gank you while your trying to tame (Hunters courtesy)

Aren’t player of opposing faction flagged in low level zones though?
They aren’t in the starting zones.
Eckayackee? (spelled all wrong, or was he the winterspring version?) He was a tough one for alliance without coordination. I did it though by shadowmelding and starting the tame once he spawned. One the third attempt the horde player just looked at me and ran off. Probably happy he didn’t have to fight him.
Starting zones are pvp free zones.
It was done this way to prevent people from camping the lvl1 spawn locations
