You had one spell nerfed that had your class performing like a pure DPS class. As a druid, your toolkit is vast and comprehensive. You’re not supposed to be pure casters or pure anything really.
You have the ability to mimic all four aspects of the game to varying degrees and you bring unique abilities such as combat res and the versatility for a healer to turn into a tank in a bad situation. Resto has incredible DPS that didn’t exist before because of their runes. You are the MOST versatile class in the game. Your expectation of being DPS gods is absurd. Perhaps roll another class?

huh u ever shift out and do something as a feral druid its the only time… shift out rebirth and a hit with regrowth and rejuv 725mana 420mana 195mana and back to form 469mana Blizzaard forgot to put int on the feral gear so ya…

Every class outside of hunter is a hybrid in sod. The you can do multiple things isnt relevent in sod, so can everyone else.

We aren’t talking about hybrids. We are talking about an expansive toolkit. A DPS rogue or warlock can’t turn into a tank to prevent a wipe but a druid can. A DPS mage can’t turn into a healer to save a wipe but a druid can.
The only class that even touches a druids toolkit is shaman but it’s like a discount druid from DollarG.
Seems like Starfire got buffed considerably, along with wrath due to their interactions per the new runes.
I feel like Druids just got real used to blasting ruinous damage while dancing in and out of range like a retail hunter instead of stopping to cast something like… a caster.
I carry a stack of mana potions on my druid for this type of situation.
(Not in the middle of the fight)

The idea that “hybrids shouldn’t do as much damage as pure DPS classes” is BS and outdated. It also doesn’t fit into the class fantasy.
You’re telling me that I can call fire down from the sun, but a man with a sword is going to do more damage than me?
Please, tell me the sorcery of the rogue/warlock not wearing their tank runes switching into tank runes in the middle of the boss fight for the save.
(Unless you’re just talking about them going into the fight with their tank runes and just already being tanks that just aren’t taunting…)

Vanish macro? Do you not know how to make macros? Doesn’t surprise me since you somehow think boomies are saved by a measly starfire buff without knowing a single thing about boomies…
Wait… wait… so in the middle of a progressing wipe, you vanish and have a macro that applies your tank runes simultaneously in enough time to establish agro before the party dies? This one is a head-scratcher.
Also, at what level does warlock learn vanish?
Warlock doesn’t but rogue has been doing it forever. You have rune applied to another piece of gear and just apply them during the macro. Do you not know how common this is for rogues? You realize rogues have had their opener macrod to a different pair of glvoes since day 1 of P1, right??? They’ve been using multiple pairs of runes since day 1…
