I feel like I don’t actually game enough to call myself a gamer, yet I have all this money invested in everything. Considering my laughably low income, I’ve blown way more on my gaming life than I can justify, what with all I’ve spent on my PC and consoles and the like, yet all I do is play WoW – and only super casually.
I have both a Series X and a PS5, each with a fair little catalogue of games, and I literally never play them. They’ve just sat there for months and months. I don’t even know how long they’ve just been sitting there now. I’d guess that I have approximately 20 to 40 hours of play time on each console.
I guess at one time I sort of envisioned this lavish gaming life of bouncing around from game to game and from PC to console to console, and it was cool to imagine all the fun I could have doing this. What do I actually do though? I log a few toons in wow each week to do some mount farms or weeklies and maybe work on random achievements a bit.
