A Warchief that is not going to disappear an expansion later. It is pretty disappointing the amount of Warchiefs the Horde go through.

The next warchief should be Nathanos.

It’s rare to see such a well written and deep character in WoW.

Edgy, mysterious, thoughtful. He’s the perfect choice.

I know, to have actual story
what must it be like. I mean hey at least Tyrande and Malfurion are alive. Picking their nose in Darnassus for the duration but you know alive none the less.

They can’t, the position of warchief is much like the teacher of defense against the dark arts. It’s a cursed position that no one can hold for more than 1-2 expacs.

But in all seriousness, i hear there will be no warchief moving forward.

The question is if you rather want to lose a warchief here and there or have entire races of yours obliterated by the other faction like the alliance in BfA.

I’d say their writing is in keeping with the Horde’s origins. It’s like Saurfang said, Sylvannas is the true heir to the Horde and the likes of Thrall were mere exceptions.

We saw with WoD that even if the Horde had not drank of Mannoroth’s blood, they would have still tried to commit genocide of the Draenei and Azeroth.

Makes the prospect of raiding .Org daunting. Either you get all the leaders at once or you die horribly because there are a dozen raid bosses in one room.

Remember the Alliance was formed to counter orc invasion from another world. The Horde was formed by left over beaten Horde to claim independence.

Alliance and Horde objectives are kind of done. Beyond those objectives is an artificial need to maintain the factions for ‘game design’. Horde don’t really need Warchief cause there’s no war, not ‘really’. Not a war of independence from the Alliance. Perhaps a war against world ending threats fought alongside the Alliance. Similarly, the Alliance reasons for existing is very weakened.
Each race has it’s own leader, right?.. Wait
 each race is united under a single leader?! How awfully racist and naive of you Blizzard!! As if humans would never fight among themselves


Horde don’t need Warchief. What we all need is a clever writer to pen a fresh new reason for us truly hate each other and draw new lines that define new waring factions. One not outlined by race.

Edit: 
and bfa and Sylvanas reason for starting another war with Alliance preemptively was not convincing, the whole thing was ill thought and awkward, and look where that got us.

I’m tired of the Warchief shuffle also but no need to worry. The Horde is getting a War Council and there will be no more Warchiefs. Of course Blizz will probably make that a rotating door. :frowning_face: :gun:

No belay that order Bliz do not give the Horde anything otherwise the Alliance players will claim favoritism and complain even more!
