I, Baron Devastator, of the Necrolords covenant, have come to your most sacred temple, with a mount suggestion, hoping you will lend me your ear.
In regards to the Bloodfang Widow, and the Vicious War Spider mounts, while very awesome, epic, and intimidating-looking. I believe there are many, like myself, frustrated that mounts like these will always be out of reach, because of issues like not being able to shell-out 2,000,000 gold and wait for The Mad Merchant to spawn for the Bloodfang Widow, Or not having the Elite PvP skill or being able to recruit carries for the Vicious War Spider, because either lack of skill, or irl issues. Therefore, as a compromise… might I suggest an easier-to-obtain spider mount, utilizing the same skeleton of the Bloodfang Widow, or Vicious War Spider? There are countless species of spiders in the world to base the design on, from recluses, to orb weavers, to tarantulas, plus several methods to choose from to obtain such a mount. It could be sold from a vendor at a decent price once you hit a reputation mark with a certain faction, it could be a potential Legion timewalking vendor reward, for 5,000 badges, it could be a covenant mission mount, even the Blizzard store would make a good option.

Sooooo you want a mount but you can’t get the mount because you aren’t good enough?
Shouldn’t that be motivation to get better?

What if we made Lady Sathrah a new tarantula mount concerning their ties to Teldrassil and Elune?
While I’m all for having more Spider mounts, doing it because you’re too poor and impatient for the other one is a silly reason.
Any new spider mounts should be on a different model/species.

it’s often that “git gud scrub” mentality that makes many online gaming communities so toxic. stuff like “link achievement for raid”, “class must be this covenant to join”, stuff like that doesn’t make you look cool, bub, it makes you look like an elitist, and a jerk, i’ve been in 2 such guilds, was not really happy with all the toxic negativity from them

Yeah I agree the “link Aotc” stuff is really bad, and makes no sense since it costs very little for a sire kill.
But like these mounts are for players that do pvp or farm gold a lot ect. Pve players have a lot of mounts too.
but not everyone has the time, or resources to play the auction house on multiple alts, and not everyone has the pvp skill for a vicious war mount, remember the brutosaur? bad enough it was 5,000,000 gold, but now, it’s only in the bmah, and the starting price is 5 mill, so i’ve heard. there should be a more accessible version of that, too
