What is the point of making the class changes and rework just to need the spec afterwards. In pvp ret needs a couple of quality of life changes due to talents they had pre-rework which is oppressive to other classes in the game. They also need some defensive adjustments on their immunities.
We have specs in dire need of reworks and major buffs for competitive pvp such as outlaw rogue and fire mage. Most caster classes could use a booster to damage in pvp combat as melee is very strong right now.
Many classes still have bugged mechanics and I don’t feel like too much more time should be spent on a class that just got a complete rework. It’s time for another spec to get similar treatment. Thanks in advance.

People spend more time crying about Ret than they do giving feedback about buffing their own class. Just look at this forum for example. Full of people that don’t even play ret crying.

Casters experience will be made immediately better by nerfing Pally’s . Pally’s have too many immunities , can dispel DoTs and have too strong 20-30 yard attacks
A reworks point is never to increase damage numbers. If that had been the point, blizzard would have just released a patch saying “Buffed all retribution damage by 5%”.
The point of the classes changes wasn’t to increase DPS. It was to make the class feel a bit more fun and less clunky. Reduce button clutter. Increase survivability. Not increase DPS.
DPS number for all classes always change and they have been changing those numbers for years on every spec throughout an expansions, and especially at the start. Patch after patch DH got nerfed on Dragonflight first came out.

Still not enough . Wings CD must be increased .
It’s 10% dmg and 10% crit dude on a 1 min cd, it’s a very tame cooldown now.

Agreed. The rework should of just been about button bloat and talent tree reworks, not making them top tier in all forms of content.
I understand this and agree. Blizzard just needs to bring this sort of rework to other classes especially in pvp.
No it’s enough. 10% crit increase that it now gives is only 5% damage increase once crit gets nerfed to +50% damage on crit. So wings only gives a pathetic 15% damage increase on a 1 min cool down. Unless you spec into always crit with with “Hammers of Wrath”. AKA Vengeful Wrath talent. Something I’ve been considering trying out. Maybe divine toll isn’t the play anymore.
I actually made this post for that very reason. I’m not asking for a nerf. Actually I would like to see a buff to specs that I don’t even play like fire mage. I think the problem with this game is everyone wants to be broken but Blizzard only allows certain classes to be broken at a time so you have a FoTM effect which is unhealthy and annoying. It makes the game toxic and boring.
Nah, Blizzard really needs to do a better job than the “rework” Paladins received, lol.
The Paladin rework started off with a lot of potential, but as the weeks past, and especially in the last two-three weeks of the PTR, Blizzard completely dropped the ball and ended up with this current monstrosity.
If it was a time thing, it should have been pushed to 10.1 here, seeing how that would have only delayed it by a few more weeks. =/
Paladins should have gotten things like updated Auras, Blessings, and Seals, with new abilities such as the datamined Wings of Liberty.
Blizzard had the opportunity to modernize a class, to that of DH and Dragons, in terms of abilities and how the class feels to play, and they screwed up big time. Because of this Ret feedback, I highly doubt they will change any class to the degree in which they need to be changed. (I.E. Mages)
