Dealing with alleria in vision.(SHE NEVER F%#@$@ MOVES)

Seriously feels like they went out of their way to create a fight that is a hard counter to melee. Anyone found any reliable way to deal with her solo? Shes truly awful to fight with daredevil and long night mask combo as you really can’t afford to let anything hit you AND you’ve got shaws annoying eye following you AND she casts for 80% of the fight and is always standing in crap AND when she does finally run towards you she teleports back to the middle of the room and you have to go stand behind a pillar not doing any damage AND sometimes she casts polymorph while standing in said crap on the ground and you either have to just eat it or run in and interrupt and eat sanity damage.

This was mostly just to rant but I am generally curious how other warrs doing solo visions handle the fight or if there’s some trick I’m missing.

No clue, haven’t done any mask runs yet. She is annoying without masks when you complete both lost and corrupted zones. I imagine it’s a huge pain in the A when you have masks.

I mean without masks I could probably just ignore the sanity bar and burn her. But I usually do the mechanics and it’s hard to get any uptime on her.

See below for my 5-mask run SW vision run. Of course skip to the end for Alleria!

Alleria just flat out sucks for melee - absolutely no questioning that, but not undoable. The key factor you need is patience: it’s an extra long fight with how much stalling there is going on. You must keep going out of LoS to reposition Alleria. Tainted polymorph ignores los, so you must kick that. Fight her wherever there is clear ground. Rinse and repeat. A lot. Good luck to you!

Use the pillars to LOS her. Yes, you will have to use multiple pillars to get her to move, and wait through a couple of different abilities, but she will move. Either that, or eat some of the sanity loss and blow her up.

How did you not insta lose taking 400% more sanity dmg in that ladt fight??

You were constantly getting hit

This fight is a joke. Newsssflashh to the plebs that come on the forums to cry, you can kick the bombs away and continue to dps. The only thing you have to do is LOS that one cast and either bladestorm/kick the poly. Hard fight amirite???

Dude. You’re nearly max ilvl. The fight is going to be much easier for you than some others. Don’t be an elitist.

They are max ilvl, just choosing to wear Ashvanes Razor Coral at 445 prolly cause it performs better.

Edit: I assume they have another 475 trink and are just choosing to wear Razor Coral.

Mind…blown

Thank you

Elitist = Doing the fight properly and efficiently. Guess that’s me boys.

I’ll give you another “elitist” tip. Get a gift of the titans weakaura that shows when it’s going to proc (there are plenty out there). Save a mob or two from the starting area then finish the run. When you come back to finish the vision and kill her pull these leftover mobs into her room and SLAY them when the weakaura shows you’re gonna get a gift proc (make sure she’s activated when one dies). Grats, you now have 20 seconds with lust and full cds to burn her without worrying about losing sanity. After these 20 seconds I have her at sub 20% hp. I know here comes the “YoUr NeArLy MaX iLvL ReeeEEE”, but most people should get a good burn in. Grats you’re now an “elitist”.

Org is even more free since when you kill one of Rexxar’s doggies in the Thrall fight you get a gift proc.

I love it when that happens. Also when the first pig gives you gift in Rexxars fight.

So I just beat it today for the first time. Although, I had never gotten to Alleria on a 5mask before.

As Arms it really wasn’t bad. I play with a controller, and kicking the bombs is too difficult. Just running out of them suffices.

If you pay attention to her attacks you can set up the ground effects where you want them. Then just run out of them. It’s a bit of a slow play but it’s very doable. I took a lot of sanity damage from the eye and still had more than 50% sanity when she died.

I do 5 mask clears weekly and they use to be very frustrating. My guess is that you might need to sharpen up on the mechanics a bit and it will likely make your life much easier. At least that was my problem.
Couple tips i can give is make sure you are killing the NPC’s that give you buffs.
Prepot and have drums for the fight.
(Huge for me) always kick the explosives out of the way or she will be standing in death 80% of the fight. Very important…
I have also found i can stand nearly next to her facing so that she is directly to my right side or left and still hit her to avoid the eye.
Getting a kick on sheep is important.
Untill you get the mechanics down well its a HUGE pita.
Make sure you are running bladestorm. I save it for if im out of range of her sheep and i just BS it.
GL bud.
