Absolute joke for anyone under 22 without master of deception (which literally no one gets)
Can’t try again later because the charge is a 1 time use. To get another charge you have to waste 90 minutes of your life going clear across the world and pickpocketing an uncommon drop on an uncommon mob.
Banged my head against the wall for 2 hours on this BS on a 21 rogue.
Either make the quest level 22, make the charge re-useable or give people distract earlier than 22.
And here I was thinking it was probably the best rune acquisition for rogues. I loved how it was done, except for the end having to run back to a major city before returning to outside SFK–but even that fit in with the story that Blizzard was presenting.
Did it at 21 without master of deception. It’s a game of patience gotta wait for the mobs to be positioned properly and facing the right way. Took 30-40 mins or so just on the dungeon part. Also had 1 death getting into the dining room.
All things considered I loved how the quest played into the rogue class and sneaking around was quite fun.
Started dungeon grinding at 22, left piles of quests to go do after, going to do a bunch of them still then murder my way through some more dungeons at the start of the next phase.
Probs going to finish off barrens and do maybe ashenvale and leave hillsbrad for levelling later
Its pretty obvious Blizzard made everything involved to waste as much time running back and forth as possible cuz time is money. I’m fed up with the A to B quests then go to A and go back to B GOOD JOB! What a joke. Going to play DAOC now.
Did it at 21 without master of deception. Wasn’t easy but it was doable. Watch mob patterns, don’t move when they’re looking at you, hug walls and corners.
