I agree with Grey. Ever since they added the LFG queueing thing it’s been like, no one really talks to each other in-game except to complain or be toxic. lol
Log on any med server pop to be reminded of what “dying server” means. An AH loaded with items for sale. Capitol cities full of people. Active General and trade chats. Look at the LFR, LFG tools.
Stand in SW or Org at peak play time and see how few players are actually on Silver Hand standing in the AH. There are times the AH is actually completely empty of players (aside from that one ignorant Horde rogue that spends an hour a day killing the AH vendors).
I’ve been on Silver Hand since 2004. It’s hard for me to come to terms with moving my guild, formed Feb 05, from Silver Hand. But it’s simply not an active server and all indicators show that it is trending downward.
Have to agree 100% that LFG is a major symptom contributing to the death of community in the game paired with the overall trend of min/max players raid logging and IO ladder addicts who play for the glory of seeing their names in the rankings.
The difference in the AH between Silver Hand and WRA is striking. Unfortunately I play Alliance and WRA is horde-heavy.
And unfortunately you dont even have to look at the AH, just walk inside and look at the amount of players, even on a med pop server as opposed to SH.
Dead as a door nail, but you’re going to still find those clueless players that say it’s just loaded with active guilds, economy and PVP. Triple queue times, dead AH posts, and discord heavy chat guilds that aren’t doing anything but watching twitch while they wear a headset would beg to differ.
