I agree the layers with no queues caused the problem.
That’s why when people say it’s exactly like TBC was (TBC did not have layers) or that this is a player-created issue only and Blizzard did nothing wrong I have to correct them.
Blizzard flat out allowed many servers to die when people started asking for help everywhere (not just here) so they could get transfer money to report to the shareholders. I still really like the people that I play with and do like the game that’s the only reason I’ll pay a monthly sub but that’s all I plan to give them.

It really is insane. The numbers are finally starting to show though. Either they will give up on WoW altogether or start making some changes. The forums and Reddit are littered with posts about servers.
Maybe if we mass upload tickets about server pops it will big down their productivity enough to do literally anything
The players demand action.
At least if wow finally goes under we can play paervers without C&D

but at least your not on the streamer sever
Bump for the dying servers out there.
Its not just dead servers but dead factions on supposedly active servers. For example my alliance server was Sulfuras and was 40-60 Alliance-Horde in classic. In TBC it dropped to 30-70 and then went 0-100 in the past 2 months. Meanwhile the horde have over 7k players and have actually increased in population in the past few weeks.
We know Blizzard is looking at realm populations and choosing to ignore speaking to the community about TBC Classic realm populations, as there are some transfer initiatives for Classic realms (Non TBC)
Today they announced new upcoming servers for Classic WoW. We demand an update on TBC Classic servers. Bump for the dying realms
I highly recommend to those affected by this to cancel your subscriptions and leave feedback in the reasons why you’re cancelling. Expect content creators and more of the community to be aware of these server population issues plaguing Classic WoW in the near future. The community deserves a response from Blizzard already. Do not let anymore low-medium pop realms die by paying for transfers.

reroll on another server, that is what happened in early 2000’s. You wanted the classic experience?
Sign and share this. We deserve better as paying customers.
Maybe I can buy a boost and ride around on that disgusting lizard mount in my HVH BG while I swap around on 4 different layers!! I can’t put my finger on it, but for some reason I remember things differently. Oh well, guess I though I did but I didn’t! /s

They should combine all but 4 imo.
Pve, pvp, rp and rpvp.
If money, According to Augier, “comes into the world with a congenital blood-stain on one cheek,” capital comes dripping from head to foot, from every pore, with blood and dirt.”
Bumping for Rattlegore Alliance (US-West PvP)
Alliance population crashed from 1200+ at launch to under 300 as of October 1st. Looking like there will be 1 remaining guild/raid team on Blue Team by end of the month.
Majority of dungeon runs are now in-guild or require Discord/outside of game organization, LFG can go 10-15 minutes without a single message. Increasing amount of content is not accessible to most players without extraneous effort.
Any form of communication/acknowledgement/recognition of the problem would be better than complete silence/negligence. Makes the consumer base feel like we are being extorted, majority of guild will likely let sub expire vs. pay for a transfer.

I’m sorry friend.
Our server dropped rapidly and now we only have one Kara group and not enough people for 25 mans or a 2nd Kara (on the entire server). We run maybe one dungeon a week, all from our guild. Our LFG doesn’t move unless someone logs in to say ‘dead server’…no need for LFG to move when the 7 players out of 20 that aren’t bots are in our guild.
We aren’t allowed to access new content becaus of blizzard’s greed and incompetence

Our LFG is our guild chat. The only guild left in the server means that all people online are from the same guild.

DD LFG is Barrens Chat with someone occasionally actually looking for a group.
I’m stuck on Sulfuras (PVP), a 100% horde server. There are no alliance. World PVP is dead. The memories I have of TBC Retail feel so far removed from what I’m experiencing in classic.
I have 4 characters above level 60. It would cost me $100 to move them to a new server and risk another server dying all over again. I’m not interested in throwing $100 in the toilet for a problem Blizzard is currently profiting off.
Thanks for this post OP. It’s 10/10 on point.

Maybe if the horde wouldn’t of shut them out from playing the game in peace we’d still have some left. I don’t blame alliance for leaving horde literally ran them off to extinction.
