Dead Server Solution?

Hello. I have a toon stranded on a “““medium””” server and cannot get an item crafted. There’s very few lower keys running early hours (server aside) to start the gear climb, and I can’t even convert crests into gear because crafting is so limited.

Is the only solution (other than sitting in a dead tradechat) here to find a guild in the same cadre of servers as my hunter and craft that way? Has this been the case since the beginning for dead servers? How do you all live like this? etc. Thanks!

I have two toons with near max/all-expac crafting… on a LOW pop realm. It’s pretty grim.

My solution was to level a toon on a Full realm, and abandon those two. Warband bank makes it not quite as bad as I can pass warbound equipment to them, and get BOE gems, pots, chants, and stuff from them.

This is definitely something that needs Blizzard’s attention. Because I am stuck on a full population server for a similar reason. I want to leave these places behind, but I can’t since then you’d give up access to having the items you need crafted by someone! There are positives to being on a lower population realm (like your name not needing special characters) and I want to go back but with crafting being so prevalent now it is mandatory you are somewhere with access to it, but in order for me to improve my WoW experience I have to leave this place and give the ability to optimize my gear up? That OR I create a guild with all of my alts, and I do all of the crafting every expansion, and get all of the knowledge, and everything needed to maintain the capability to produce everything for every one of those alts. So what do they want me to do? Buy chinese-farmed gold? It’s way cheaper and more bang for your buck than WoW tokens.

Yes it is grim for low pop servers or servers that used to be higher pop. Just do your best until a better solution comes along from BlizZard.
