30 plus minute queues for epic BGs on a week where they have a weekly quest is absurd.
Hasn’t it been dying since Nov 2004?
I got 17 other games to play right now, wow has taken a back seat, but I can only speak for myself. Will likely come back for turbulent timeways later so i can level a few alts. Right now all I have maxed out is a hunter and I find it sooo boring to play. I know a few people who fell or are doing similar.
Does that make WoW dead? nah, WoW has more than enough players to keep it profitable. If it survived SL, it’ll survive this too. WoW dies when it stops raking in profit, and so long as people buy annual subs for exclusive mounts or 75$ tree houses, they got all they need to keep the lights on. Sorry, Im feeling a bit Jaded today lol Back to playing Windrose.
I’m pretty sure even avid PvPers don’t like epic BGs.
Try regular BGs?
I haven’t stepped foot in an Epic BG in sooo long.
I used to live in AV.
Go Merc if your queue isn’t popping.
Well, right where I’m at:
-It’s basically summer so everyone is out and about, weather is amazing, pools are open. People aren’t wasting their summers sitting inside.
-Tons of games other than WoW to try out right now, many indie titles, many simply new games. Meanwhile WoW has nothing going for it aside from a new singular raid boss on the 16th, but we’re still in the same raid tier.
-Even when that patch arrives? Nothing will change in terms of your usual gameplay, because the only new content is really just that one raid.
-Next major WoW patch (12.1) isn’t until mid-July or early August at the soonest, and the next story chapter with it.
All-in-all, it is a good time to take a break. You won’t miss anything.
pvp has been dead for the past several expansions
No, Asheron’s Call is a dead game. Wildstar is a dead game. This game has at least a few million people still playing.
Lol epic BGs have been longer than normal BGS since forever. I think the only time now its faster if they have AV event which should happen more often imo. These kids today don’t know about AV. lol
Dead? No. Despite my distaste for a lot of the game, I can’t call it “dead”.
Undead, zombified and carrying on by a spiteful ancient curse of the mummy?
That’s probably a more accurate assessment.
People have crap to do during the day.
You must not be from the south.
If it’s 100 degrees, guess where everyone is?
Hint: It’s not outside.

Play the game and not the side game.
The game hasn’t died since 2002; oh pvp… well, no one really cares about that anymore
I’m in VA, so the northernmost part of the South, if it even counts lol.
It’s like 70-80 here, a little bit of wind.
The game is a shadow of its former self for sure but not dead.
There’s no greater determinant of wow health than epic bg queue times, yeah. Def a dead game
auction house is dead too
