Just found this dragon skeleton on top of the mountain. Any in game explanation what happened?

There’s two other dragons too, One on top of a Tiragarde mountain and the other on Drustvar’s summit. They’ve always been there.
I think I heard it’s reference to Skyrim or something, but either way they’re just easter eggs.

Skyrim reference, dragonborn.
If you look around youll see the Kul Tiras emblem under one of the claws. During the Second War the Kul Tiran fleet was up against the Horde Fleet as well as their enslaved red dragons who utterly decimated any fleet foolish enough to attack. It wasnt until the Wildhammer Gryphon riders learned how to swarm on them, led by Kurdin Wildhammer, did they finally kill many of the red dragons to which those are their remains from the dog fighting methods and sky warfare.
This is further referenced by the quest chain in Drustvar where a red drake asks for our help in releasing their souls after dying in a terrible conflict.

The dragons don’t want us to talk about this, but I’m pretty sure it involved some cloudy weather and a bit too much drinking on the part of a few dragons that are no longer with us…
Well what had happened was . . . . There were these aliens you see, and some stuff happened. Mistakes were made. People got hurt. It was a pretty sticky situation.
I bet it was some other dragons who crossed Chromie.
