But seriously, Being disconnected from servers is happenning way too often. And it ruins de “Hardcore” experience. Something needs to be done, specially if Bliizzard itself is ackowledging an attack on the servers.
I mean if you can survive the servers dying, you can survive just about anything else lol.
Last time I played HC, some guy climbed the power tower near me and they shut off the power, nope not playing that again.
Yeah, I don’t trust my ISP enough to do any hardcore mode that requires me to be online (Classic, D3/D4, etc).
You are playing a game mode that is purely there to waste your time. Get over it.
Hardcore servers should randomly terminate all network connections.
Make a meta-game around players strategically deciding when to log back in so they don’t bottleneck and take so long to load in that they put themselves at further risk. Or have a buddy/alt come check the area to see if you’re dead and clear a safe area where you think you disconnected.
I will NEVER play HC because blizzard simply has no reasonable policy, or ability, to deal with DDOS attacks.
E.g. Onlyfangs getting DDOS’d during a BWL raid and dying.

Maybe, and im just spit balling… Blizzard is behind it. They don’t want people to enjoy classic and hardcore… they cant make any money off of it outside the monthly subscription. Listen all yall its a sabotage…
I would be more inclined to think the guild themselves are behind it. they wanted an excuse to quit that horribly boring game mode lol.
It’s very likely that the DDOS is due to wanting to troll streamers on HC mode in the first place. Remove HC or segregate HC servers + login infra from the rest of Blizzard games so the rest of us don’t have to deal with DDOS issues due to the 5 people that play HC.
You think Blizzard wants people to leave instead of getting 15 dollars/month for a game mode which incentivizes replaying the slowest leveling experience in history and requires no additional work from Blizzard?
Hardcore is totally amazing dude. Its like the greatest high a wow player can have right now.
I think they would want them to play on the game with tokens and microtransactions as well as the 15$ a month…
The people playing classic era exclusively and not retail aren’t going to come to retail because they died in classic. They’ll either stay on classic or leave.
Probably best for them to leave. Blizzard is very small now. Obviously cant juggle it all.
