If you are uncertain if your realm is being affected, the wrong place to go is Realm Status.
Upon login you come across a Realm Selection Screen. If the realm has a LOW population, it is currently being affected by the DDOS attack.
Which is Mankrik for one… cannot log on to the server

I can only guess the affected realms must be the sacrificial lambs. Blizzard must have decided to let the attacker’s have their way while they protect the others?
That sounds harsh but the others are likely receiving so many attacks they can’t get around to Mankrik and the others.

This poster’s information is misleading. The fact remains, even medium population servers are being negatively affected by this ongoing DDoS attack.
I am unsure about the high population servers as I’ve not tried to log into them. I do know that medium server populations (for several hours now) have been affected too. Customers cannot remain logged in for but a minute or two before they are kicked out of game/disconnected from game server.
