The first group of trash mobs I attack is hitting me for more than my entire health pool in a single hit. How did this even go live?

I managed to do it on a few toons, but only the DPS ones. My tank alt couldn’t do it and I haven’t tried anybody else yet. I don’t know if this just broke now, but it seemed to work yesterday and this morning on my hunter and my warlock.

Could be the bug that if you have a shirt/tabard equipped your item level is 1 and you have super low health and stats
Yes, taking off the shirt and tabard actually works. Everybody I took through today did them without an issue.
Yes unintended consequence of the hotfix preventing lower level gear from scaling up (aka Shadowmourne scaling up to 619) is causing all your gear to scale down to ilv 1 (if you have a shirt or tabard equipped).
the fact that players have figured that out and made their own fix is kind of embarrassing for blizzard to not have fixed it yet
