Tbh while I’m loving dragonflight i kind of wish that Blizzard would use classic to set up a separate universe instead of taking it directly to cata/mop/WoD.
They could honestly use cata but change it here and there.

Not dead, new management and new dceu boss so Gunn is working on that. Zaslav is trying to save money. We all knew Snyderverse was gone but I never saw the appeal anyways.

Man of Steel was majestic, and ZSJL was wonderful.
Joss Whedon needs to bear a lot of the blame for the ruination that was Justice League.
They should start a son of Superman series, make it like God of War but the dad is Clark.
Marvel is starting to suck too.

Classic works because it doesn’t take much resources. Two streams of new content would really use a lot.

While there were issues with Joss who got tossed into it after Snyder stepped down… the Snyder cut was just as bad if not worse. Affleck as Batman was the most horrible thing I have ever seen. The suit didn’t even fit him properly and he was terrible.
Really the lore goofups go as far back as TBC… would be better to fork off from the end of Vanilla and go from there. Keep what worked, ditch what didn’t, use bits and pieces from the piles of ideas on the cutting room floor along with some new writing to fill the gaps.
DC should just get back to focusing on animation, that’s what they were great at over Marvel.
I’ll never understand why Justice League Unlimited was the end of WB’s animated DC universe. It worked extremely well all around, from Bruce Timm’s character designs to the performances of the VAs to the universe itself. Batman: TAS, Batman Beyond, Justice League, etc are my favorites out of the DC stuff I’ve watched.
DC has some of the best comics stories ever told and they just ignore them. Their best bet is to just move their most celebrated stories to the screen.
Start with Kingdom Come, and go from there.
Heck, do Batman: Holy Terror. It’s by far the best comic book ever written, and it was only a 1-shot.
Snyder only stepped down because the studio didn’t let him take time off to grieve his daughter’s passing. I also cannot understand why they hired the person in charge of competing movies (Avengers).
