Yo seriously, working all day and coming home to a 2 hour queue, i get that. but this DC when i was just on. Something has to be done. there are Multiple people with more than 1 account all logged in, with half the people just sitting afk. Now i cant play for 5 hours today because of a simple dc? Can someone please skip my queue to the front of the line or something? Make it so only 1 account is playable per IP address?? I dont know but this is complete BULL!

Don’t worry, you aren’t really missing out or falling behind on anything and the queues will be gone when most people quit in a couple of weeks.
Or, maybe right before they launched the prepatch they thought oh hey, lets squish all the servers together, Maybe next time. Wait till after because this is clearly something that happens EVERY single launch. Youre right though. totally my bad…
The issue is that the population does drop dramatically very shortly after the start of a game. If they have enough servers so there are minimal login queues, when the population drops, many of those servers will be dead. I realize it’s a bad situation, but I’m not sure what the solution might be.
Perhaps their research is faulty. They seem to be taken by surprise when this happens.
Had they of waited until after the launch to crunch the servers i highly doubt this would be as big of a problem as it is now.
I don’t think you understand how this works.
They start with the number of servers they think they will need in the long run. That means there are login queues when the game starts. If you wanted them to start with lots of extra servers and then phase some out and force transfer people playing on those to other servers, I don’t think that would have been a good idea.
This is the TRUE Classic experience. Cope.
