DC error 51900319 on one character only

Made a new character on Monday 1/21 and experienced no issues while Timewalking in Dragonflight. As soon as I unlocked the dragon flying quests yesterday, all sorts of DCs started happening - very similar to posts from when the DF expansion released (I haven’t played in years so I would have figured this would have been a long since resolved issue).

All other characters seem fine. I can log in and see other players moving around, but usually one of three things happen.

  1. I can move around and access my UI, but get a huge lag if I speak to an NPC, which then usually disconnects with the 51900319 error

  2. I can move around but the wrong UI is displayed (it might show the dragon flying UI while I’m unmounted)

  3. I stay in game and don’t get DC, but all player characters are frozen in place

All 3 options require a ctrl+alt+del force quit, as the UI doesn’t respond to quitting in game.

I literally haven’t played WoW in years, but it sounds like others are experiencing bugs, but only topics I can find regarding my specific issue are several years old.

Is similar stuff happening to others recently in regard to the 51900319 disconnect?

Are there any add-ons different between that character and the ones that don’t DC?

I’m actually not using any addons yet, because I just wanted to get used to gameplay before researching what addons are popular these days. I literally JUST resubbed from a 4 year hiatus and had no issues on Monday.

The weird thing is that there’s lots of other ppl saying they were having instance issues. I was able to run the Ruby Life Pools last night with the AI party members (awesome feature, btw) and had ZERO problems looting anything, but anything outside the instance was a laggy/crashy mess.
