Anyone else having an issue with DBM or bigwigs recently?
I can’t get either to work anymore. I’ve done everything from updating, removing all other add-ons, to repairing my installation.
Neither of them will work in 5 mans.
Any ideas would be welcome. Thanks!
What source do you use for addons? I know WoWup is stopping support and updates
Download them from curse forge.
DBM works fine for me. Was using it today in a Mythic+ dungeon. I get mine from WoWup.
Weird, only other thing I got it is maybe check to see if the addons are disable by being “out of date”. Can you /dbm or /bigwigs at all?
better get used to learning how to play the game instead of having addons play it for you.
Yeah. You better get ready for changes that probably won’t be made at all…but definitely no sooner than year from now, that way you will be worse than everybody else and excluded from content /s
Except the game moved towards to be 100% dependent on those addons / customized weak auras.
i wish they break those add-ons…
i have done heroic content with 0 add-ons, you don’t need it, it’s just a crutch that allows you to be a worse player, haven’t done mythic raids in awhile as I don’t care anymore, but you didn’t need them for it either.
most legendary parses are not actual good players to bring into a raid because they ignore all mechanics and beg for PI.
in fact only time I have ever made a legendary parse was when demo warlock was played by no one serious, when I was a meta try hard not hard to get epic parses with 0 add-ons, now I don’t even care and just play what I want because realized parsing is just for baddies to stroke their own !@#$'s thinking they are good but really were hurting the raid by ignoring mechanics.
DBM seems to be working.
It’s just that it take more work then learning the fight to make it less confusing than the fight.
Dbm has the addon suite offered everywhere. As for version of it or say classic it could be off by one depending upon being on curseforge, wago, wowinterface.
As for OP it would be easiest to just have it pull ftom github. MysticalOS and team have that as the primary repository.
You’ve done all the heroic dungeons in the game. Like, wut? That doesn’t count as “heroic content”, nor does it require addons.

yea, important things like notification to interrupt parasitic MC on last boss Mists just doesn’t work anymore. Pretty annoying.
Since when? If you mean from curseforge yes but they can still get them from Wago. and the only reason why they can’t get them from curseforge it is because Overwolf (something I’d never, ever use)
i know classic has issues with dbm working properly. did you update your addons?
or you could jsut track when the boss is casting it when shield is down… instead of waiting for a addon to tell you when to press a button… USE YOUR OWN SENSES
If you’re talking about heroic dungeons, I couldn’t laugh harder.
If you’re talking about Heroic raid… well, you can play suboptimal like you do, but that is the difference between clearing the content smoothly (in your case, not clearing at all).

Follow these steps:
In particular pay attention to the “Advanced Troubleshooting” which is simply executing this step: /console cvar_default
Making a backup copy of your WTF is absolutely critical and you need to do that before you do the first step. That folder contains all your user settings. If you end up removing and reinstalling WoW, it may delete your WTF directory.
Who cares how you’ve done or do content. If you’re not the first guild to do complete, you’re playing a nerfed version of it anyways and thus can’t brag.
