So tired of dazd. If you overpull you’re done. There is no surviving. If 2 guys pat on to you afte rp ulling 2 g uys on accident? you’re SoL You stay and fight? you die. You flee? You get dazed. cat form with feline swiftness and swiftness potion together are nothing compared to how OP dazed is. forced to travel at RP pace as 4 dwarves wail on you.
1 day 16 hour sin the toilet. I get it’s hardcore but… dazed is an annoyance normally. But it just FEELS awful. It feels like you have no con trol in a situation.
Daze does indeed suck, but if you get an overpull you need to be running before they get to you, not when theyre on top of you. Outside, druid should bear near invincible. Indoors is a different story, but can still be very durable if youre careful and prepared.
Should always be aware of your surroundings while fighting, tunnel vision will kill you in hardcore. A good tip is to mark patrols with raid markers so you know where they are at all times. Anytime I see MorLadim in Duskeood I always mark him.
Sucks
True druid has nothing to escape that mechanic. Go bear and pray…
Have you considered playing rogue for vanish, mage frost nova, priest psychic scream, shaman stoneclaw totem, hunter feign death, paly bubble run
Sorry bro, but this is 100% a skill/knowledge issue. There are ways to avoid daze with a million mobs on you, you have to strafe and jump+turn towards them as you run. Done correctly, it’s no different than turning away and running except without the daze.
You do have control, you can run and not get dazed. Strafing with your camera faced appropriately can keep you running away while not having you back to mobs this includes not only not getting dazed but the other benefits of not having you back turned to the mobs (block, dodge, parry).
There are guides out there. avoid jumping though like some will say, that can initiate swings because of whatever axis check comes into play and you can get hit from long distances, aoe farming mages that are good know all about this.
You can run at a sideways angle and never get dazed.
If you do get dazed you swap to bear and dont stay in cat.
By not turning you also increased you incoming damage massively because you’re not dodging from behind.
And you probably didn’t do the bear demo shout to further reduce damage.
You can bear charge out of the crowd to a different mob or critter also if you get in a tight spot.
You had many opportunities to control the situation and you misplayed it, and so now you’re dead. L2P. Hardcore isn’t made for participation trophy newbs.
