24 hour CD is ludicrous. Just…why?
Please fix this Blizzard, a 24 hour CD is totally ridiculous.
What in the entire literal fricketyfrack.
Just when I thought the devs couldn’t possibly be more stupid…
I know they have an inky black potion for nighttime, if they made a toy of it (or have and I haven’t seen it.) that would be awesome =). Also, a lower cooldown on those toys so can use them more often would be cool too =)!
So I actually got annoyed with the way I was working and Night Time. I came back to find something was created for it and it ended up having a 24 hour cooldown… Why do you want to punish people so badly while your night time version is 1 hour? Why don’t you want people to be allowed to enjoy the game day or night depending how they feel?
It’s amazing how much blizz invalidates their own content with ludicrous cds.
Nearly every to in the game needs a review along these lines.
In other games toys are spammable or they last until cancelled.
And nothing terrible happens. Imagine that?
The best solution is to shorten the periods of day/night, its a fantasy game, it doesn’t need to be normal time, FFXIV has a great system, albeit a little fast, shorten the cycles to say 4 hours would 100% be the the best solution.
I to get sick of playing in the night
Edit
This popped up on my recommended reading didn’t see the date.
It’s like the Inky Black Potion from the Darkmoon faire. Sometimes I just want it to be night time. Pop a potion and you’re set.
Although, I don’t think this new toy should have a CD attached to it. I never understood why Blizz puts such long CD’s on their TOYS. Especially ones that only affect the user.
Give this toy a 5 min CD and lasts for 2 hours. Who’s that hurting? All it would do is enhance people’s game play, and they would enjoy it a lot more.
Same here. Toys and items that only affect the user shouldn’t have a cooldown. What’s the point in limiting the fun of the player? I get items you put into the world. I also get items that affect other players, but costumes and items that only affect the player using them should be free to use at any time with no cooldown.
Its still not good enough.
A 24hr CD or spend your TW currency to get the daylight we so desperately deserve where US players can play in glorious night with an item that has no cooldown and is so cheap it barely even registers as a cost when you buy it.
Why do we get screwed over Blizz?

Dude, 10 months? Really?
Leave dead threads to die okay. Necromancy is bad.
No. Blizz needs to be reminded that they are failing us here in Australia
And you can do that by creating a new thread.
Necroing is against the forum code of conduct.
You’d think this would be the most logical solution but leave it to Blizz to find some underhanded solution to solve a problem and then tag currency into it so that you have to run more timewalking dungeons.
It’s literally a metaphor for BfA systems.
Edit: holy necro LMAO
dont be , the world looks so much better at night then daylight . Most of us dont even notice that its " night "
Which ‘most of’ does not include me. My vision as I have gotten older has deteriorated and even with glasses designed to work with computer monitors, I still struggle with the game when it is dark. Some instances that have a very dark atmosphere are a real problem for me.
So I use the toy and the sand every day to make life a bit easier. Some zones it doesn’t work in (the Corruption ones for example) and I just have to cope with those.
Nothing wrong with a little reminder that a little parity would go a long way, Blizzard.
Please reduce the cooldown on this toy.
If you haven’t already, I’d suggest fiddling with the gamma setting for the graphics. You can often make pitch black dungeons look well-lit by turning it up.
Course, then it’s really bright when you come out of the dark… But, I wouldn’t be surprised if someone’s made an addon that would scale the gamma for you automatically.
Looks like there’s a couple possibilities on curseforge.
They should just play Night Elves. shrug
