Everquest died a long time ago.
That is the third party site/company, that buys dead mmorpgs.
So I guess it is a “good deal” if you still think it is a good game.

I wonder if my EQ characters still exist? Back in the day, I remember that they never deleted them.
myself I would not trust it, you could be paying that, and only end up being able to play for a year, and the servers go down.

i actually have had one of these lifetime memberships for years, i had it when DCUO was first released before it was linked to all the other former SOE games, and when they linked it, it automatically applied to all of the other games
i only really use it for my EQ2 houses and DCUO costumes though because it gives you free stipend of cash shop money
in that alone, i have i think made the money back

I played it for it on and off since it came out more recently the last 5 years but I got pretty burned out. Been playing WoW alot lately, I got a couple of friends who did get the lifetime sub they said it pays itself off in the end after about a year or so.
This is the company that turned EQ next into vaporware.
It’s owned by Russian investors.
Caveat emptor.
A lifetime membership for any service, whether a gym membership or mmo subscription, is the ultimate cash grab.
I still log onto EQ every so often for nostalgia kicks. I wouldn’t really pay for it though.
