note that this has been raised quite a bit, hoping to put the spotlight on this and try and give it the right attention.
I think adjusting the day/night cycles would benefit players playing at different parts of the day or playing on servers in another country.
My understanding is that the day/night cycle is on a 24hr cycle. For those that play on local servers but play overnight or others who play on an overseas server often get stuck in darkness for majority of their play time.
I would think there should be an option to manipulate the cycle to enable day/night based on preference or at least adjust the cycles to be 6/12 hours instead of the full 24.
What do you all think? Is there something I’m missing here?
It’s made to be a world and you’re made to be a part of that world. When I worked nights I often would go months without seeing the sun it’s just how it works. Hell working in the Arctic circle go that long without seeing the sun go down at times. If your char only logs in at night ie is only out and about at night you don’t see the sun. That is role playing which kinda is the game we are playing a role playing game.
Now I don’t care if they add a personal option but it seams like making work for no reason at all. This is one of the things in the game that make complete sense to exist how it dose.
I can understand that perspective. I do however feel as though a personal option would be minimal work that won’t impact people like yourself that enjoy the roleplaying element of it.

No. No more changes. Moving forward, the game should be a 1:1 recreation of the original content releases, whether we proceed further into Cataclysm & beyond, or we reset into Classic+/Wrath-era.
Changes are only going to come more frequently with new classic expansion releases because balancing got more and more specific
Ret being in the most nerfed state but passable with T10 is only the beginning. In cataclysm all physical DPS got a flat damage buff to keep them competitive eith tarecgosa casters which all casters were expected to have by DS. They do last patch balance again and physical DPS are going to be insane until DS launches again. Casters will be hard benched in speed clearing guilds.
