I played balders gate 3, and overwatch, even hots, a bunch of games, but warcraft pvp is just unique, I enjoy it.
I fell in love in rated bg’s shot calling for some random 2400 team. My ability to skulldrag people into the deathball was both fun and unique at the time, even now with blitz I hot key the new target ping and when i grip I ping and it gets the same result, very satisfying. And the ability to chains, tripple grip, blind and pet stun I can peel an entire team fromt he fc, its satisfying.
1800 is very good, 1500 is ave, everyone has a valid opinion, IF they link WHY, or EVIDENCE of why they think somthing is…
If I was like 3k rated and was like, ‘We need to nerf rogues, I feel like the dmg is high’, vs some 1500 rated player that was like ‘we need to nerf rogues, look at the high representation, and here is the data proving what I am saying…’, guess who holds more weight?
…but they will revert this nerf, it came before everyone had max verse, most players are not even getting verse they are maxxing off stats like mastery and haste, as nothing can kill a healer, or kill anything his on, so the min/maxing on the pvp community is insane. a lot of high end pvpers went and get crafted RINGS in the first few weeks just to get massive mastery/haste bonus’s as that led to a dps increase, over verse, or stam, simply becasue they wanted to complete, knowing a healer will keep them alive long enough to shut down the other team, its vicious. Unholy was nerfed, but it doesnt play 4set, it sacrafices ‘crit’ for this, alot of people dont even play 4 set for example, they went everything off pieces, why? For more dmg, blizz doesnt consider this, they only test with everything in the 4 set etc, why? Becasue they dont realise what a monster they have created, people NEED to min max just to keep up, crit was worthless, but no doubt they took crit into account prior to the nerf and with 10% crit were like ‘yeah dk is fine with this low dmg’ not even considering people would avoid it.
And whats with the numbers? sometimes when I see numbers of my screen like 150m, its like… diddnt we have a stat squish? Why not just make that a number 15? Does it change anything? Nope, but players can see the screen again, so many colours and numbers flicking past, I cant even see what I am playing kek.
And healers need a MASSIVE change. If no one can kill them 1v1, without 50% dampening, somthing is off… whats wrong with double dps killing a healer in arena? I will never know. The healer should be mobile, not juggernaughts. Druid is a good example of this, when they are just healing themselves they are impossible to kill, just a tank.
1 dps SHOULD be able to outplay and kill 1 healer, there I said it.
If they cant, then you just created another tank class and wonder why no one wants to play healers. The healer should be able to DO DMG as well, and tanks should be viable, but its about math and while focusing on pve pvp will never thrive, overwatch does this well, look at ANNA, IF she jumps you, she can win, if you jump her she HAS to land CC, or its GG, and if you ignore her she can keep a WHOLE team alive. Thats good design.
eg: dps does 100% dmg.
healer does 85% dmg, and can do 25% healing.
Tanks do 50% dmg and has 50% dmg reduction.
Just follow this math.
