My sense of time is wonky so it’s either 3 or 4 days since I made this toon.
I do not remember 1-60 ( well 20 - 60 ) being THAT fast to level thru but hot damn. Powered thru howling fjord to get out of Wrath and into Pandaria. I can never get tired of Pandaria questing so I’m looking forward to that. Even if it means I then have to go thru WoD then Legion again. I leveled one of every class to Legion end game levels so I had to put up with those so many dang times lol.
Couple rando things I noticed leveling
1: classic wow sure does love the “target tries to run away out of fear” thing in dungeons
2: meanwhile wrath seems to LOVE enrage on A LOT of dungeon mobs
3: Okay for real Metzen is everywhere voice wise in classic
4: Oddly the big thing that bugged me so far was just being stuck in cruddy gear look wise. I have some Trial of Style sets but eh. Still looks low quality. Transmog has spoiled me. So I’m pretty glad some more appearances got unlocked after I made it to Pandaria / Cataclysm levels.
Still not in the habit of using my camp racial when I should. That thing saves a lot of time in some of the bigger zones when you need to head back to a quest hub to turn stuff in.
Anyway I’m gonna go rest. Still got a lot of work to get this toon to BfA content.
Yeah, though technically if they’re going for sheer speed, the fastest path would be to go to Hyjal at 80, finish that (complete the chapters), and then hit Jade Forest. Be 90 within 4-5 hours, and then with WoD flying and maybe help from a max level friend can be level 100 in less than an hour.
I don’t have WoD flying either, I just asked a friend with it, and level 120. The intro gets you to 92, then you can buy the other xp pots, then do the bonus areas and tear through levels like paper.
Ah right the xp thing. Ty for reminding me. It just gets old going to the same 2 or sometimes 3 zones til I can leave.
Least Legion is a smidge more tolerable in that the class hall stuff is fun. Well that and even if lorewise I’m so fed up with the leveling zones there, the quests are still good gameplay wise. Not too grindy.
