I am working on the Lord of the Reigns achievement. I created a dark iron paladin since he has access to the old paladin mounts as well as the Darkforge Ram. Since he can ride the old Paladin charger, will he be able to ride the Dawnforge Ram as well? The Dawnforge Ram is the normal dwarf paladin mount. It shows up in his list of mounts. Do i bother leveling a regular dwarf pally to 20?

I may be wrong but I dont think the paladin mounts count towards the achievement.

They absolutely do. Matter of fact, the hard core mount collectors do it on a Paladin because they have one more than any other class.

p.s. Op, Paladin racial mounts are tied to their race. A blood elf can’t ride the sun kodo, human can’t ride a ram, etc. etc.

Death Knights have a gryphon and a horse. We have two extra mounts.

We have three mounts. Horse, gryphon and dragon. However, Paladins have their level 40 mount, level 60 mount, a special mount from the Argent Tournament and 4 mounts from the class hall.

Ok so maybe i wont level a regular dwarf paladin to 20. As soon as i created the dark iron paladin, my mounts went up by one. and the Dark Iron can still ride the level 20 human paladin mount as well but I dont think he would be able to ride the dawnforge ram

Right now you actually can use both dawnforge and darkforge ram on a dark iron paladin, but I’m pretty sure that’s a bug and it will be fixed at some point.

@OP… Just create a class trial regular dwarf paladin and you’ll get the mount added to your account.

Any “number of mounts” achievements only counts mounts that one character can use.

You may have 305 mounts in your mounts tab but unless one character can use at least 300 of them, you won’t get the achievement.

To add onto what Aarschott said, your Statistics page is the only place you can get an accurate count.

Statistics > Character > Gear > Mounts Owned

Warlock class mounts are pretty awesome. Especially the purple one. But then paladins get a pretty purple one too.

Mount collectors do all class mount quests. =)

I like that the color variations fit with most mogs.

Most badass mount EVER (Most badass of my collection of 10, so let me have my moment).

20 can be done in 3 - 4 hours, so, yes, I recommend it.

Yeah, but your Achievement page tells you how many you have towards the achievement.

For example, on my warrior, it says that toon has 331. But my No Stable Big Enough achieve says im at 333/350.

Your total mount count is equal to the number of mounts a character can actually use. If you have 300 mounts for everyone, but 302 in your paladin, the achievement will list 302 after you have logged on your paladin.

So, imagine you get the 301th mount on your hunter. It won’t raise your count (because you have 301, which is less than the 302 that is already registered). But, once you log on your paladin, your mount count goes up to 303, since only then the two paladin mounts will count.

class hall dragon? I don’t count that really as an extra mount since everyone gets one.
