This dungeon needs to be pulled from the m+ pool. It will just be a key you do for .io and then spin
I was aware of what people were saying about this instance. I did it as a follower dungeon and made the NPC the leader hoping that might help with the not knowing where to go issue.
Nope. The tank just stood there on the deck of the ship because she didnât know where to go either.
Unless they do some fixes to this pile of s I wonât be entering it any more than I absolutely have to. Cost me like 300 gold in repairs.
I really donât get the feedback here, honestly⌠Maybe Iâm just in the minority, but:
-
The first phase has you on the ship and periodically popping off it to avoid the first bossâ big death aura.
-
The second phase has you flying down into the town and marks the areas best to land
with big yellow dots as well as the lieutenants meant to kill with the Rare Spawn indicator to weaken the second boss. -
Third phase is back to the ship, as dictated by the NPC talking head, and then chasing the boss from the ship at a halfway point to the Veneration Grounds, interrupting its Immune to All Damage bollocks, and finishing up.
Otherwise, everythingâs pretty well explained in the dungeon journal.
Just ran it and had zero problems.
Its raid mechanics inside a heroic. The boss itself is actually fought in a future raid and was âweakenedâ by his fights in Dawnbreaker.
So, the 2nd boss, I get fighting the lieutenants to weaken himâŚbut why oh why does he have to patrol so flipping close to them so quickly? thereâs like NO chance to down one without pulling him.
He should be stationary or something, have the lieutenants patrol.
Go inside the buildings. The NPC even keeps saying to when you approach one, in a roundabout manner by saying the building name.
Not so fun fact, you can very easily pull through the ceiling in one of the buildings. Iâm pretty sure I body pulled the ones on top with vengeful retreat from the bottom floor, unless someone happened to time a different ability that would pull through the ceiling then.
Every time Iâve tried going into the inn, the boss ends up in there like the Kool Aid man. It might be because someone else pulled him or something but still.
Ran it today. Pretty awful design. Having to mount during a boss fight, fly away and fly back? Dumb. Going in these tiny buildings? (because people are pulling in them) also terrible.
Well good thing they hit like wet noodles. You can also just clear a area to bring them to outside, except at the captainâs house. That one you have to pull inside.
9/10 Boss design, Would definitely fight kool aid man. 10/10 if he actually came through walls midfight with another boss yelling âOH YEAH!â
they hit like wet noodles now, on heroic where every trash mob dies in 2 seconds. It will be a bit of a different story when you are suddenly fighting an extra pack of mobs on top of a mini boss in a small room in a +12 or higher.
It can be run, but its AWFUL. Itâs similar to Nokhud Offensive. I am sure someone out there just LOVES flight dungeons, that doesnât make them a positive addition to the game.
Lets just have a dungeon where it mixes up all your keybinds randomly, because its a SILLY DUNGEON. It could be completed, couldnt it?
Being able to complete the dungeon doesnât mean it should be kept in the game.
Yep itâs the worst dungeon in the game by a large margin.
One of my guild mates uses an addon to help with pointing directional flying to help orient themselves (as an accessibility/disability thing) and the dungeon doesnât let it work inside. Poor guy just canât navigate inside the dungeon and has to rely on co-flying (which isnât really practical).
I think they had a cool concept for this dungeon, but in reality it creates so many accessibility problems that Iâm dreading this on M+
holy crap i havenât even tried the dungeon yet, is it really that bad??
Enrage timer 10 minutes or he unleashes âDrink the Kool-Aid!â and wellâŚyou know what happensâŚ
This should simply NOT be in the season 1 key rotation so they can fix the bugs
I was responding in regards to the confusion. People can like the dungeon or not. I just didnât understand why there was confusion-based hate when it⌠didnât seem confusing at all.
And I will say that I actually thought the dungeon was neat, yes.
This will mostly clear up after the dungeon is no longer new but the first couple times I ran it I definitely felt that it wasnât entirely clear what mobs were important or not. Also the town is completely littered with mobs so butt pulls happen all the time. It doesnât matter in a heroic but itâll be very frustrating when you get shot by something behind you in a key and die for it
