And its so buggy too, trying to land on ship for 3rd boss but flying through the ship, eventually land inside the ship and can’t get out to tank boss. Getting randomly ported out of dungeon is fun too.
So so so so bad and unfun.
All by itself this one dungeon has made me not want to get KSM this season. The design is SO bad that it honestly seems like they are trying to troll us.
Also, if you happen to be a druid, during the flight phases, you can’t use flightform. You shift into your ground mount.
They should bite the bullet now and just add teleports between each ship since they’ll inevitably have to add them whenever great push or whatever competitive M+ contest comes around.
It’s a dungeon I want to love because the concept is neat and the zone looks great, but it’s unbearably buggy.
I haven’t encountered any bugs, but the flight intermission for Rash’anan is weird. I guess it’s meant for setting up cooldown resets.
Yeah we were confused about this the first time too. Basically, get enough gold orbs to not have your flight buff expire (since this is the only place in the dungeon it’s timed) and then once you’re close enough to his P2 platform, just land and wait. That one’s going to kill a lot of people the first time they see it unless they explicitly follow someone else (or ride-along).
The designed experience is great, but it was a terrible idea to make it a dungeon; it should have been a scenario where it can be slower paced. It’s like they took the feedback of Nokhud and Tindrall and figured a way to make it even more punishing for players that struggle with dragonriding skyriding.
Once I knew what to expect, this dungeon became one of my favorites.
I do hope they spawn the golden orbs faster and let them linger longer as there are 5 players.
I Really enjoy the dungeon as an Idea but i don’t think it makes a good dungeon Kind gives me spine of deathwing vibes y’know? Really cool on paper but not good gameplay at all.
Until they nerf it you can also just fly straight from the ship to the final phase of the fight and sit there for 20’ish seconds waiting for the boss to show up. There’s an NPC holding a torch signifying a safe area.
The entire chase sequence is pointless at present time.
Yeah, they could rectify that somewhat by making the orbs give you a stacking damage buff of say, 0.5% or 1%. There needs to be a benefit besides “I don’t know where to go so I need to fly longer”. Then at most you show up to the boss with a 10% damage buff for 15 seconds.
That’s putting it mildly. As ranged you get constant line-of-sight messages when you’re two feet away. You’re standing on top of them and you can’t attack.
I tried first on follower, hoping the bots would do it right. Nope. They just friggin stand there doing nothing.
I queued for a group and our healer had the same problem with line of sight and quit out of frustration.
It’s going to need some huge improvements before I’ll ever run this dungeon again. For randoms, I’ll just take the deserter debuff.
This really is the WORST dungeon ever.
