Dawn of the Infinite for every key

Me and my friends seem to only ever get these 2 dungeons. It’s supposedly random what key you get but i’m starting to doubt that. Run one, and it jumps back and forth between the two. Try to change out your key same deal.

Looking at the group finder this morning shows me it isn’t just us…nearly every single group is Rise or Fall… so sick of these 2 dungeons. Poorly made and being way over used. They should have only had 1 of the 2 in the M+ rotation in the same season.

(Edit: Lol i need to drink my coffee before posting)

My guild and I have a recurring joke about how I have an account flag that says I roll every other key as one of the DOTI dungeons. They get a pretty big kick out of it because everyone knows how much I absolutely hate Rise and Fall.

Seriously though, every other key I get is always one of those 2.

Edit: I would be fine with running Fall every now and then but when I land on Rise sometime I just stop pushing my own key. It’s incredibly tedious, the mechanics are annoying, and the overall design is like someone went out of their way to make the whole thing as annoying as possible.

Wha don’t you like the RP that wasn’t completely removed, the annoying infinite army gauntlet oh and can’t forget Chromie bugging in Rise right before the final boss bricking your key :dracthyr_a1:

I wish i would get those keys, but i only get EB and AD

Personally, I really enjoy Fall. But, I always run with a rogue, so we just get to skip the entire last hallway. As for Rise, it’s difficulty is pretty frontloaded, so at least you know early if the key is dead. That said, the gauntlet hallway is absolute trash. Any tiny, minor amount of latency and it’s just such a grossly awful experience. Please, Blizzard…never again. It was such a mistake.

The Vault last week: “Grats, here’s your key!”

Me: Murozond’s Rise 13 :frowning:

The Key Swapper: “You want to swap your key? Okay, here you go!”

Well, you should get either DOTI key 25% of the time from the vault (2/7ths of the time if you are rerolling from another key or 1/7 of the time if you are rerolling from a DOTI key). This is high if you group them together, accounting also for confirmation bias, you are going to notice these two a lot more often than other keys.

I’m convinced this game hates me.

All I get are DotI keys. But that 25% sure didn’t translate to the mounts from Cata Timewalking raid cache, where I killed Ragnaros on 18 different characters to get one of the mounts. :sob:

I haven’t heard of this, in what way does she bug out?

We have the same problem with Darkeart Thicket and Blackrook Hold. The top 3 keys last night were all Darkheart Thicket. Last week it was all Blackrook Hold. Our group hasn’t seen an Everbloom key in a month.

I think most people want Dawn of the Infinite with at least some regularity so they can collect the Divergent gear.

We don’t have much issue with Fall. The only trouble we seem to have on Rise is Morchi. We’re spectacularly bad at Thicket and we keep getting it. Our tank is normally a healer and not a natural tank, and they can’t see well in Thicket due to the color scheme so we always pull ALL. THE. TRASH. Often 15 deaths by the first boss.

Well when she’s like channelling her beam on Galakrond so you can skip the fight with him and go straight to Deios or whatever his name was to stop Murozond from existing well she bugs out and just freezes on channelling her beam into Galakrond leaving the ice walls blocking the way forward up.

It is weighted to DotI tbf. Since there are 2 DotI dungeons, it means you have a 1/4 chance of getting at least one of them.

I hate both of the DOTI dungeons. Too much RP, new players get lost when they release, a dozen separate mechanics in every trash pack, always going over percent because somebody messes up the skip… Really hoping those 2 get left out for season 4.

Must be nice. Last week the people I regularly run keys with, myself included, were consistently cycling between Everbloom (one of the two hardest keys this season) and some other key that we’d either time and get an Everbloom out of or deplete and have to run a lower Everbloom afterwards.
