Datamined Mythic+ Changes for Dragonflight Season 5
Highlights
- All Weekly affixes have been removed from the Season.
Classes
- Priests are now banned from Mythic+ dungeons as Power word: Fortitude, Power Infusion and Mass Dispel are too strong.
- Rogue’s Shroud of Concealment now has no cooldown and an infinite duration while in a Mythic+ dungeon.
Items
- Items no longer drop from Mythic+ chest at the end of the dungeon. Instead, players can loot a new currency (Emblems of Frost) that allows them to buy dungeon loot off a vendor.
- Legendaries Fyr’alath the Dreamrender and Nasz’uro , the Unbound Legacy now have a 100% chance to drop from the end of any Mythic+ dungeon.
- Fires of Outlands TCG Mount, Reins of the Swift Spectral Tiger, now has a very rare chance (~0.01%) to drop from the end of any timed Mythic+ dungeon.
Dungeons
- Old Hillsbrad Foothills, The Oculus, Violet Hold and The Black Morass added as part of the dungeon rotation.
Restrictions
- Old restrictions of gear lockouts removed, allowing you to swap weapons, trinkets and other gear pieces while in a dungeon.
Affixes
- Level 4 and 7 weekly affix rotation removed
- Seasonal affixes return! Two fan favorite weekly affixes Bolstering, Sanguine will return as seasonal and be present in every key for the season.
