Hello!,
The above mentioned quest in Storm Peaks in Northrend requires the use of an ‘Inventor’s Disk’ from a previous quest, which I assembled. Now, we are supposed to use said disk to download data from ‘Databank’, by clicking on the ‘Disk icon’ that appears. We need 7 such ‘Hidden Data’. It was not on this character, it was on my other toon, who is trying to get Loremaster achievement.
The problem is, I am not even even able to use it to download it. I went to see a youtube video to see if I was doing it wrong. There is supposed to be a purple ray emanating from the character to the floating Databank. In my case, I just hear the sound of the spell being started and then ‘poof’, like something is cancelling it out. I tried abandoning quest, restarting wow, taking off addons and so on. I even tried it by removing all trinkets, rings, armor and it still doesnt work. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
