Hello,
Was about to check out the vendors and queue to knock out some achievements, but noticed it was completely empty. What happened? Really concerned and wondering what Blizz could do to bolster interest.
Hello,

People wanted their weekly reward and moved on. It’s not fun or rewarding enough to keep players coming back outside of the time gated rewards.
I haven’t looked into it much but I heard it’s timegated, so I’m just going to wait until it’s fully released before I try it
(Also I heard it scales your gear down, which I hate.)
Solo’ed quests yesterday. Got the weekly reward. Its done until Tuesday.
It isn’t repeatable content like the Nightfall events or Horrific Visions. Those have a currency you can gather and buy rewards with.
I was ahead of the curve and quit queuing for them before they got here.
There’s a queue for this?
Maybe they mean custom groups.
I’m sure Liquid vs. Echo will drum up some more support for this timegated FOMO event.
/s
Meanwhile the rest of the playerbase: “So…same time next week?”
Let me conjure up my concerned face. Never mind, they do not have one of those faces for me to show.
I think at this point, even after Ion was like “hey yall, we know you hate the whole time gating, and we will try and do better speech” people are probably just like not giving a pooh about this event.
Not to mention, how many times can a Developer use that “we are sorry and will do better” before people just don’t care.
A lot more things to do maybe.
I am out hunting pets for my hunter so I’m busy, leave your message and I’ll get back if I care.
Well. That explains a few things.
Ok and it puts you with. A.I. npcs to do the encounter with I did mine last night when I’m sure earlier during the day most ppl already did the content. It’s not hard & I ended up with 4 new shoulder pieces for Tmog. Easy content, easy rewards
. I don’t get the complaints tbh
C-u next Tuesday complaints (pun intended
) literally
Sorry I couldn’t resist
and we can’t continue the content till next Tuesday anyways, HEY Blizzard picked that day, not me!
this is a hilarious disaster indeed lol
I’m still trying to figure out how OP thinks a solo scenario with the option for other players is already dead, because there’s no one in queue… when no one is going to queue for this. lol
Like the Tom Hanks character in Big, I don’t get it.
Someone at Blizzard thought it was a good idea to devote resources to this, they have even gone so far as to crate an event with a couple of RFW guilds to promote it, yet what is in game just baffles me.
I don’t get it.
I don’t really get it either. Or the appeal.
Indeed. He looked around the area on his server and didn’t see anyone, but has no idea what’s happening on other servers.
I don’t hate the event, but I’m not interested in getting a “High Score” just for the score’s sake. So I did the quests, got the rewards, and will play again next week.
I tried it out. Not a fan.
Brawler’s guild had you deal with certain mechanics for each boss to succeed.
Dastardly Duos? You get one-shot by a single melee if you aren’t a tank unless there was something I was missing and the NPCs party members will do everything in their power to avoid score circles not to mention if you are a DPS, the tank can just die and there’s nothing else you can do about it but die.
Oh. And Baron Silverlane’s adds are probably the worst, if both bosses die before his adds do, the randomly applied debuff (Blindwatcher’s, I believe) will just randomly one-shot you and cause the NPC logic to reset while dealing with those adds and the two new bosses that cycled in.
I imagine the only way to have any real degree of success is to play a tank spec or go in with a party of human players because the NPCs are very lacking when scaled to naked.
That was the other thing about it I didn’t like, being scaled to 0 ilvl makes everything a big uh… More busted than it should be? The only stat gain you can get are from enchants/consumables but that doesn’t change the fact that some classes just feel outright unplayable with 0 crit/haste/mastery/vers and having naked level 80 HP when enemies have millions of HP makes it a slog.
Oh, and there’s no way to leave without finishing the event or hearthing out.
I’ve heard the name but don’t even know what it is.
Wait so this thing scales you down to naked?
Mages are a no go then, and I imagine Bear tanks is beyond squishy.
