is there a reason why this particular AI is so garbage? tank gets obliterated, doesn’t move mobs into the circle - kinda important if you’re going for score - surely it can be improved. the dungeon AI is so much better than this.
You can go over and click on the blimp to drive the circle over to the tank and the mobs

You know this would have been nice to know at the start.
I’ve often wondered why Blizz never just made a billboard of just the basics/general directions for things they release. Hell they wouldn’t even need a billboard. It could just be floating text font size 40.
Dastardly Duos’ billboard should have been.
-Kill plants to spawn bomb circles
-You can kick the bombs to move them via click
-Kill mobs in circles for more points
-Eat food for buff. Food on the left. Drinks on the right.
-Wodin gives challenge food
-Click gears for more time
-Bring friends because the AI is bad and it’s scaled to 5man
-If you do use the AI, click the blimp to drive the circle over the tank and mobs
-Go to wowhead if you have anymore questions

Careful, Blizz saw players relying on addons too much and now they want to kill them. They might nuke wowhead next. Let’s not give them ideas lol
They’ve said years ago that they just expect people to look things up on wowhead. The game could definitely use some tips on the fly though. I dont want to read a 10 page wowhead “guide” to figure out what I need to do in some dinky event that the devs toss out as a filler.
This doesn’t solve the issue of the NPC tank making your cheery bomb placement completely worthless by virtue of just being plain stupid.
When the event first launched, the NPC tank would also cast Divine Shield when they were low and Blizzard neglected to give them the Final Stand effect, which effectively resulted in the tank bubbling aggro on to the player DPS for them to die. This got fixed after I reported it, but the NPC tank still inexplicably runs around like a chicken with their head cut off while Divine Shield is active.

Dastardly Duos is slop - whatever minimal effort went into creating it would have been better spent anywhere else in game.

I’m not sure i could play this game without wowhead, i have to consult it way too often, mostly the comments sections though.
